ROTTERDAM-- Two people face gun charges following an altercation Tuesday night outside an apartment complex in the town, Rotterdam police said.

Ann Samuels, 23, and Nicholas Marx, 27, both of Schenectady, have been charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a felony, in connection with the fight at the Mohawk Manor Apartments on Duanesburg Road shortly before 9:30 p.m., police said.

The pair fled before police arrived but were stopped by police a short distance away based on descriptions from callers who also reported that a gun may have been displayed during the fight. After searching the car driven by Samuels, police found a .38 caliber revolver and some marijuana. Marx, the passenger, was also charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation. The duo was arraigned in Rotterdam Town Court and sent to the Schenectady County Jail.

As of Wednesday evening, Samuels remained at the jail while Marx was released on bond, according to jail staff.

Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the altercation to contact police at 355-7331.

I thought the apartments at the depot were "MAPLE PINE MANOR."  That is what the sign indicates.

Thanks, Kevin. This is the RPD brass using the obscure name so to keep people misinformed to lessen political fallout for their co-partners in the queer marriage know as Rotterdam government. Believe me, nothing is a mistake and no chance to lessen the fallout for their masters is missed. It went on for years with the Constantino regime as we have all witnessed. They cover up better than Sherwin Williams and Benjamin Moore combined. They think we are all stupid, and quite honestly after having many of the actual policemen confide in me some of the more bizarre misdeeds of that organization's brass over the decades, I sometimes wish I didn't know where so many of the bodies are buried.

I won't waste time repeating the message that I delivered to Kelly.  You are a negative, mean, and nasty
person.  I choose to associate and have conversations with positive people.  Don't hold your breath waiting
for me to respond to you in the future.

BTW - I only ran once .. I lost .. I got over it within a day or two 5 years ago -- maybe you should try
looking FORWARD rather than backwards.
