DVR-absolutely correct.  Diane Marco is a terrific person WHO SHOULD BE IN TOWN HALL.  The town can benefit from her expertise and experience.  As a board member she was ALWAYS willing to respond to the needs of the seniors BUT on a different level.  Her forte is not working in the trenches.  She is a better partner on the policy end of things.  JD was always "babysitting" seniors.  They dont' want that.  They want and need leadership.  Rotterdam seniors suffer because no one has the connections to make Rotterdam a livable community for seniors so that they can age in place.

She should be?  She chose not to run, she walked away from the position after she couldn't get her way for one term. She told everyone she was moving to Florida to get out of here.  Should be?  Didn't want to be. 'nuff said, 'nuff damage done.

you are right.....there is a clear bubble over Rotterdam and there is a sign on top that says..."Schenectady County Nursing Home"...
the politicos like to get re-elected just for fun....no future planning involved....just a free ride to keep things status quo, which
is a dirty shame...because Mont Pleasant will happen to Rotterdam......THE FUTURE IS COMING FASTER AND FASTER AND FASTER......

Mr. Calder showed his wisdom and foresight by raising good points at the Town Board meeting.
I am glad that it is now only 78 days until he joins the Rotterdam Town Board.

I find it quite telling that Calder thinks this administration is doing a good job. This administration is abysmal and anyone who thinks they are doing a good job is unfit for office. This is insanity!
