I don't care WHAT goes there, but I would like to see SOMETHING open at the old Grand Union on Hamburg Street.  This could be a big draw to the area for other retailers.  If it's a store, it will bring more revenue, if it's an office-type business, it would bring people with money to spend at other local businesses.  Sort of the same thing that could go on at the Curry Road Shopping Center, the same thing that could happen at the Curry / Helderberg corner.  I wonder when the building inspector that finally decided that the racetrack wasn't a racetrack will get around to saying the building is unsafe and needs to be fixed or ripped down immediately.

You don't care???? That mind though is what got rotterdam to look like the patch work quilt it is in today!

Remember who controls the RIDA now.....METROPLEX!!

Do you really want the rotterdam taxpayers to pay for a 'private business' to build in your town AND THEN let them (the business) be tax free????? Bring in revenue??? Think again! Rotterdam will end up just like the city.....HIGH TAXES and PEOPLE WALKING AWAY FROM THEIR HOMES BECAUSE THEY COULDN'T AFFORD THE TAXES ANY LONGER!!!

If private businesses though schenectady county was such a booming municipality, they would have all been knocking down the boarders to move in. OBVIOUSLY...they relocate or move on in just long enough to skip out on paying taxes.....that is the ONLY reason!!

These businesses are quite aware that the schenectady county people are apparently dumbed down otherwise the people would be in the streets with pitch forks.....but sadly they are not!

you folks can argue over in the corner  .... But I think we need a great store like Fresh Market in Rotterdam.

Their store on Route 9 in Latham is awesome.
