Is this too funny or what?     From today's gazette:

Are the buses going to drive on the sidewalks?  
Is State St going to become a one way street?

HEY.  DVOR.....this is exactly one of those pet Savage projects.... make State St into a two lane street and increase the cost of the bus to $2.00 claiming it will drive in a bus-only lane and get you there faster.   Where is that lane, DVOR????

buses have the ability to change the traffic signals??  WTH?

actually this is something that the Federal DOT, State DOT, and CDTA have been working on for a number
of years  ....  it wasn't Ms. Savage's idea or project.    This was in the planning for over 10 years .... and is
actually something that transit authorities in other STATES and COUNTRIES ...  like Canada .. have had for
years.    
So get off your constant bashing of Ms. Savage .. next thing you know .. you will be blaming her for the
eruption of Mount Vesuvius almost 2,000 years ago.

They were saying that SS had a big part in narrowing State St to what it is today and creating a traffic jam at peak hours. There are special thru lanes in many areas now to be used for car pooling but most roads state no buses or trucks allowed in the car pool lane.

I don't believe for a minute that Savage and Stratton have NO IMPUT on this CDTA issue. CDTA is mainly funded by taxpayer's dollars!!! People are hard pressed to believe that their GOVERNMENT representatives have no say in what transpires in their respected towns/cities/villages!!!

After all..........they are the voice of the people.......right???? Or perhaps they are just a voice of the party...perhaps?
