How long do we have to sit back and wait for the person who was elected to the job and is still collecting the paycheck to come back and actually do the job?  I would say that if I was ill enough to not come to work for months, that if someone wrote a memo for me to sign and brought it to me stating that it was a necessity of my job, I would be telling them where they could place their memo, in the inbox and I'll get to it when I feel better, or let my replacement get to it, as I see how important it is to have someone in the position that can fulfill all the duties of the office.  Personally, I feel for Ms. Esposito and hope that she feels better much quickly, but if she truly cares for the town, maybe instead of signing memos regarding placement of temporary help, she should sign a memo of resignation and allow someone to take the office that will be there to do the job.

Doing this?????

I am actually listening to some music .. and playing around with Google Earth .. and doing this.

Seriously,  on the matter of transcribing the meeting -- that is done by the clerk/typist who works
part time in the Town Clerk's office.

I will be working most of tomorrow  - at home .. at no cost to the taxpayers - on some stuff for the
Parks Commission.

Kevin, the democrapic party won't LET her retire! they need her to wait so they manipulate the election schedule.

When or if Mrs. Esposito decides to retire is a matter that the Democratic Party has NEVER discussed.
It is a decision that she alone must make.    Given the recent death of her son, I think we should all
show some sympathy and understanding on the matter.

That was how long ago.  Time to get over it and do her job, or step aside.

Her son passed away on August 30.

So, roughly 5 weeks of mourning.  Sounds like she needs a grief counselor.

Step aside Eunice, it's time.

At present, is there a Notary at Town Hall?   I know that this is not a requirement of the Town Clerk but it would be a valuable service to our residents.

I believe there are 1 or 2 persons who are notaries  at Town Hall...  not in the Town Clerk's Office though
.... and now that Mike Godlewski is not working there ... that would leave just Mr. Liccardi in the Attorney's
Office.
