The polls showed that the people didn't want Farley but didn't want Savage even MORE!

Put a fork in Savage. She's done.

Just a question -- if Schenectady County is so awful as you folks contend --- and since Mr. Farley has been our
State Senator for 34 years ---  what the HELL has he done for us ????

By his own admission -- he hasn't done anything for 34 years about unfunded state mandates BUT he
promises if he gets to go back for 2 more years .. he will START to do something .. what the HELL has he
been doing for 34 years ????

You criticize the work that the Democrats on the County Legislature has done -- yet YOUR GUY is off on
vacation in Hawaii and DisneyWorld with OUR TAXPAYER DOLLARS footing the bill for his trips ... and HE
ADMITS ..   HE  "was part of the problem in Albany"
BUT if we reelect him he will work for reform.   Whatthe HELL has he done about reforming the State Senate  (32 of the 34 years HIS party controlled that body)
and fixing the problems in Albany ???

We have unfunded state mandates which are costing the county, the city, and the towns millions -- and on
top of that  Mr. Farley  has spent  $3.6 million on "personal services" as our State Senate.   Then he sends
a mailer to all the registered voters  .. at a cost of $80,000 + to the taxpayers ... to tell us that New York
has to cut spending.   IF WE FIRE HUGH FARLEY WE CAN FINALLY CUT HIS SHARE OF THE
WASTEFUL SPENDING.

I would rather that Farley do nothing than what Savage has done.

Here's what Farley has done-he didn't lie about creating 3,500 jobs. Farley didn't lie about cutting taxes.

We don't want another DEM in the State Senate that will vote for Sen Sampson, who is a disgrace, to stay on as Majority leader. Check out the Inspector General's report. The Senate DEMS cost NYS taxpayers MILLIONS by delaying the opening of VLT's in NYC. SS Savage is going to be crushed. All the truth about her County "leadership" has come out. It would surprise no one if the DEMS removed her after this humiliating defeat.

Mystery regarding Susan Savage’s husband solved

Well, well, well, thanks to Carl Strock’s Oct. 17 column [“No outside income? Let’s take a look”] something that has always befuddled me has now been solved.
I had always wondered why the husband of [Chairwoman] Susan Savage was never mentioned in any of her public pronouncements or political campaign literature. Had never even heard a peep about him from any source.
[I] had received a mailing showing Ms. Savage with several of her children, but no mention of a husband. Usually this sort of propaganda shows a candidate with spouse and offspring, all with happy smiles on their faces looking like the perfect American family.
So, I wondered: where is her husband? She must have one. In my less charitable moments it occurred to me that they could be divorced or separated and, as we all know, no candidate likes to advertise this sort of thing.
In my more charitable moments, I thought he might be a stay-at-home dad who preferred to stay out of the limelight while his wife pursued her political career. After all, with nine children to look after, somebody has to stay at home.
Now, lo and behold, thanks to Mr. Strock, I find out his name isn’t Savage, he is a high-powered Albany lobbyist, and as such, part of New York state’s democratically entrenched political establishment. No wonder Ms. Savage keeps him in the background and out of sight.
And now, after thinking maybe it was time for Mr. Farley to be retired from his current position, I’ve had second thoughts. Sorry, Susan.

DV is speechless.  He's going into hiding from embarrassment

Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent.
Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and
speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.

Put a fork in Savage. She's done. No matter how many poison pieces from the nasties over at Vincy's, nobody is buying her BS.
