this is the conundrum that the Conservative Party and Mr. Lazio faces ...
carry on the campaign and look like a "spoiler" but win at least 50,000 votes state wide to
keep the Conservative line alive in the state
or
Lazio suspends his campaign .. the Conservative Party polls less than 50,000 votes state wide
and goes away forever .. just like the Right To Life and Liberal Parties went away when their
Gubernatorial candidates won less than 50,000 votes
If you are a member of the Conservative Party -- which course of action do you choose ? |

Who cares about the party.....stop looking through a telescope.....it has nothing to do with party and everything to do with what the voters want.....
the politicos need to stop trying to read the 'tea leaves' and just say what they mean and mean what they say without podium pucks and slogans.....
the voters will decide your value and weight in our ballot....... |

I am not arguing for or against the benefits of the Conservative Party staying in existence .. I was raising the real problem that Conservative Party leaders face .. and its rank and file .. and its Gubernatorial Candidate ---- do they "pack up the tent" and support Paladino .. even if that means that the Conservative Party line goes away or do they work like heck for Lazio and hope that he can get over 50,000 votes statewide? If the Conservative Party line goes away statewide -- that has implications for Rotterdam politics -- because then the only party's left would be the Democratic, Republican, Independence and the Working Families. |

My push is NOT for party survival....OF ANY NAME......my push is to have folks read the tea leaves and choose without regard to their shepherds......
ESPECIALLY IN THIS TOWN......the silent majority(because of the increase in MFRH and other developement) dont care about who is sleeping/dating
married/divorced/owner of/etc...........
the parties need to be shredded from the inside out......what folks dont realize is that the walls WILL NOT CRUMBLE........you will not starve....this
