The parade attendance has been steadily declining ever since they changed the day that it's held and because of that sponsors are few and far between. |

 Sponsors want a Christmas parade on the Friday night AFTER Thanksgiving. Not some politically correct crap that SS Savage keeps serving up. This will be the worst parade yet but expect the Gazetto to look the other way. Maybe the coming REP tidal wave (everywhere REPS are on the ballot) will wake these idiots up. Many small business people are mad but the pathetic pro-tax Chamber only listens to Proctor's and SS Savage. |

The Macy's parade in NYC has been historically ON thanksgiving!!! For decades!!
But Susan Savage and Phillip Morris has made sure to ruin one of the only good things schenectady had to offer. And yes, attendance has been down ever since the change.I have to believe that they would be more than happy to see the parade go away altogether!!! |

I'm waiting for Ron to post from TH what a great job SS Savage and Mercury Morris have done with the Christmas Parade-lol-They can't interfere with another performance of the Mop and Bucket which may draw 20 people to Proctor's? The lack of respect for any Christmas tradition is sickening. The parade is hardly the only thing they have screwed up. |
