I don't get upset over propaganda... I usually ignore it.

First, read up on history.

Second....why was the mosque originally named, by the Iman, as the Cardoba Initiative and later changed to Park51?

Come on boxy, I may not agree with you on political matters, but I thought you were smarter than that....no?

Some opponents criticized the Mosques original name, Cordoba, alleging it to be a reference to the Islamic conquest of the Christian city of Córdoba.
The  name was meant to invoke 8th–11th century Córdoba, which they call a model of peaceful coexistence between Muslims, Christians, and Jews.
To avoid confusion, the project;s name was renamed Park51.

Cordoba:
In the 10th-11th centuries Córdoba was one of the most advanced cities in the world, as well as a great cultural, political, financial and economic center. The Great Mosque of Córdoba dates back to this time; under caliph Al-Hakam II Córdoba received what was then the largest library in the world, housing from 400,000 to 1,000,000 volumes.

The name they chose for this project, Cordoba Initiative, is an
interesting chose. For those who are not students of history, Cordoba is
a city in Spain. During the time of the Crusades it was one of Spain's
greatest cultural centers. The Moors, which were a group of Muslims from
North Africa invaded Spain beheading all infidels (non-Muslim
believers), captured Cordoba, converted it to their city and turned the
city's well known Catholic cathedral into a mosque.

Throughout history Muslims have been known to capture territory and always convert the most prized Christian churches into mosques. It is no accident that this
NYC Islamic Center is being called the Cordoba Initiative. They are
claiming a victory of 9/11 and creating their own memorial. In that culture their memorials are not in honor of the dead, but to display their victory over those who were defeated.

Revisionist history from Cordoba

The name Cordoba was given to the project for a very specfic reason. Muslims and liberal western
academics would have you to believe that it comes from the Andalusian city of Cordoba which is
portrayed as 'the model of medieval Muslim progressiveness and tolerance for Christians and Jews."
But this is far from the truth. " the true history of Cordoba, not to mention the whole of Andalusia, is far less inspiring than what Western academics portray: the Christian city was conquered by Muslims around 711, its inhabitants slaughtered or enslaved. The original mosque of Cordoba--the namesake of the Ground Zero mosque--was built atop, and partly from the materials of, a Christian church. Modern day Muslims are well aware of all this. Such is the true--and ominous--legacy of Cordoba" MEFORUM

Did you catch that? The original mosque of Cordoba, from which the Ground Zero mosque project
takes it name, was built on the ashes of a Christian church after the Muslims destroyed it. Can you
see why the name is so important to them? Step 1 was destroying one of the greatest American
symbols they could get their hands on, and Step 2 will be to erect a mosque as close to that spot
as possible to 'claim it' for Islam.

Ibrihim continues as says this - "More pointedly, throughout Islam's history, whenever a region was conquered, one of the first signs of consolidation was/is the erection of a mosque atop the sacred sites of the vanquished: the pagan Ka'ba temple in Arabia was converted into Islam's holiest site, the mosque of Mecca; the al-Aqsa mosque, Islam's third holiest site, was built atop Solomon's temple in Jerusalem; the Umayyad mosque was built atop the Church of St. John the Baptist; and the Hagia Sophia was converted into a mosque upon the conquest of Constantinople." source - MEMFORUM

History shows that the Muslims always erect a mosque after they have conquered a particular land
or country, as evidenced in the 4 cited examples above. Since 9/11, when 19 Muslim terrorists brought down the World Trade Centers, the ground has basically sat with very little progress done
in it's rebuilding. It is still an open wound, and to our shame it remains unbuilt. But with the opening
of the Cordoba House mosque, that sacred ground will be claimed as victory for Islam. Think about
it - the are erecting a 13-story monument to the very ideology that killed the 2,996 people who
died in that fiery inferno. It is the ulitmate slap-in-the-face to the victims personally, and to America
as a whole. The Muslims know that we are country crippled by liberalism and political correctness,
mock us openly by building this mosque.

Kind of like the Queen of the Assumption or whatever.......

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.
