Really???
How about a "disaster' following the Sept11th attacks or the INVASION of two countries??? Do you think that counts???
You made the statement - now qualify it. The question wasn't who took more vacations. Besides, when you're the President, you're full time, like it or not it's a 24x7 job. I don't recall any president, in my lifetime, taking a family vacation, eating ice cream, hiking in the mountains, playing golf this much, theater trips to NYC, etc - after a natural disaster, war or other incident like this one. Camp David? That doesn't really "count" - it's commonly called the "Western White House" and it's just as fully equipped, staffed and secure as the White House in Washington DC. Yes, Crawford trips, I'll agree with you ... to a point. Obama and crew have only traveled to Chicago a handful of times, instead he's brought his favorite people, including personal chef, with him to DC. The only reason, IMO, that he's not there more often, is to distance himself from Blago and that comedian that won by having felons vote for him. |
