There will be a public hearing for FDG's request for permit for a BBQ take-out...to be held at the 7/13 Planning Commission meeting.   The following Legal Notice was posted in today's Gazette.

The property is located at 671 Mariaville Road, known as Tax Parcel Number 47.00-8-4.1 and is located in the General Business (B-2) Zoning District. PETITIONER RESPECTFULLY REQUESTS, that he be granted a Special Use Permit as prescribed by the Town of Rotterdam Zoning Code being Chapter 270-15.1 "Limitations on Principal Uses." Chapter 270-15.1 allows for two or more principal uses on the same lot by the granting of a Special Use Permit. By Order of the Rotterdam Planning Commission Thomas P. Yuille - Chairman 7-7 0591

May as well get rid of the "existing propane dispensing facility" - his employees don't know how to use it properly anyway.

Imagine, a motorhome (class A) being told that they need to remove the propane tank, that's mounted, and filled, like a fuel tank, UNDER the motorhome, so they can fill it.  Then, when you explain that's impossible (as there's a fill cap readily accessible), you find out, as do they, that they, oh darn, don't even have the connectors needed.

Yes, I talk from experience.

You're right MT if his employees don't know how to dispense propane the proper way the state should take their certification away from them b4 they blow something up.
