Argo Turboserve Corp., a Lyndhurst, N.J. company with an office in Schenectady, will expand into a 22,000-square-foot building off Broadway that is under construction.
ATC, which signed a 10-year lease, is investing $1.5 million in lab equipment and machinery. Developer and owner Highbridge Development is investing $3.4 million in the building, and Highbridge's Plank Construction Services LLC is constructing the building. Empire State Development Corp. is provide a $100,000 capital grant and Schenectady Metroplex Development Authority is proving $150,000 toward the cost of the $5 million project.
The company expects to grow from 15 to 30 people in the next three years. Engineering jobs will pay annual salaries between $60,000 and $100,000. Technician positions will have annual salaries of between $30,000 and $60,000.
