YUP.....the is exactly the MICHAEL SAVAGE I'm referring to!!!!! The one and only!!! None other than the great MICHAEL SAVAGE!!!

And what gets me laughing is that the real rubes are those who don't realize that Michael Savage, as sick an unpatriotic racist that he is, is first and foremost an entertainer. He has a cast of characters to 'call in' so he can have a well defined backboard upon which to spout his hate-filled nonsense.

Oh, and Obama, et al, have never stacked the decks (audience) at town halls, press conferences, news briefings, campaign stops - or preselected questions that must first be submitted, then chosen "randomly" (after the answer is rehearsed/researched no doubt).  Ya, Savage is SO unique in this mission.

::fail again. Keep trying.

And you would love nothing more than for your leader Obama to ban him from the public airwaves for speech that isn't  agreeable with the great leaders message.  Typical liberal,,,using the "racist" card when they can't win the battle of ideas.  What gets me laughing is you making fun of the intelligence of Rotterdam/Schenectady resident, while you sell overpriced wine and liquor to them.

He shouldn't be banned, but no one should listen to him seriously.  I don't think Sombody said anything to suggest he be banned.

And no, I disagree with people all the time.  It is the best way to flesh out my own ideas, since good ideas are the ones that stand the test of argument.  No that guy is a dick for screaming down the caller and never letting him make a point.

Like MT said, the same can be said about listening to the Obama administration.  Everything that comes out of the administration is orchestrated and contrived.  How can anybody take them seriously?   Remember - The health care debate would be broadcast on C-SPAN.  Shutting down Gitmo.  Pulling troops out of Iraq.  Talk about entertainer, Obama's been acting since he was inaugurated.

At least talk radio can be turned off or you can turn the channel to NPR and listen to those communist editorialize current events.  Or you can watch CNN,MSNBC,CBS,NBC,ABC and get the slanted news, where they present hard news with left leaning bias. Rewriting history during each and every broadcast.

Every time that argument comes up about censoring talk radio, or some bullcrud like that, now I can point to "Voice of America" and ask how their liberal stations are doing ... obviously not well.  It's places like Fox and some of the other networks that are thriving, perhaps because they give both sides of the story in their NEWS reports, and in MOST of their "commentary" programs.

Remember, Beck, Hannity, O'Reilly, Huckabee, etc., are COMMENTARY programs. They're not "news", nor are they portrayed to be "news".  The "spin" on MSNBC, CNN, etc., is evident in every NEWScast, along with their commentary shows.  I watch FoxNews, CBS and occasionally CNN. I try to get all viewpoints on the news - honestly, it makes me sick when NEWScasts have a spin, or are very obviously slanted one way or another.  Much like the DailyGazette is obviously slanted toward Democrats.

An Open Letter to Mayor Bloomberg and Electeds: Stop the Ground Zero Mosque At Once

Phil Orenstein
Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg
City Hall
New York, NY 10007

Dear Mayor Bloomberg,
This letter is addressed to the mayor as well as to all public elected officials in New York City to recognize the only reasonable action to take for the City of New York and for all the people of America. In the name of righteousness and common sense, I demand that you to speak out in opposition to the proposed mosque, the 13-story Islamic Cultural Center called the Cordoba House, just a stone’s throw away from Ground Zero where the former World Trade Towers crumbled into dust on September 11, 2001 along with nearly 3000 New Yorkers.

The opening date for the Ground Zero mosque is September 11, 2011, the 10 year anniversary of the horrific terrorist attack which is seared into the memory of all Americans and directly touches the lives of every New Yorker through friends, family or co-workers who perished on that day. As long as we have memory that sustains us, we will never forget the horrific tragedy, and we emphatically oppose the construction of any mosque on the hallowed grounds where our fellow New Yorkers and loved ones were murdered in the horrific plot by 19 Muslim terrorist hijackers. This is not a freedom of religion issue. It is an issue of speaking out in name of righteousness. We have no objections to the construction of mosques. But why at Ground Zero? By the same token, who would allow the symbolic ignominy of a Shinto shrine commemorating Emperor Hirohito at Pearl Harbor with the opening day of December 7th?

The proposed mosque, a joint venture of the Cordoba Initiative and the American Society for Muslim Advancement (ASMA), is presided over by its founder, Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf who paid $4.85 million for the building in December 2009. His bogus claim that the money came from New York Muslim contributors needs to be investigated. Where did the $4.85 million come from and above all who is footing the bill for the projected $100 million cost of the project? According to a New York Post report, the founding organizations have accounted for only a fraction of the projected costs and it’s likely that wealthy Saudi benefactors will pick up the tab. The 2009 financial statement of Rauf’s organization, ASMA, shows that they received large donations from foreign sources, including $576,312 from Qatar, a nation notorious for funding international terrorism.
As mayor of the greatest city in the U.S., you as well as all public elected officials need to take a stand as Mayor Rudy Giuliani did in 2001. He rejected the $10 million donation for September 11th relief efforts from Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal after the prince suggested that United States’ foreign policies contributed to the 9-11 attacks, in a statement warning that the United States "must address some of the issues that led to such a criminal attack." Imam Rauf, with his deceptively “moderate” demeanor, also made a similar assertion about one week before the Saudi prince. On the CBS News broadcast of 60 Minutes on September 30, 2001, Rauf said: “…United States policies were an accessory to the crime that happened…Because we have been accessory to a lot of innocent lives dying in the world. In fact, in the most direct sense Osama bin-Laden is made in the U.S.A."

Imam Rauf will predictably follow in the radical tradition of his father, Dr. Muhammad Abdul Rauf and his Islamic expansionist plans for building mosques and Islamic centers in New York City.  Dr. Rauf senior built the Islamic Cultural Center on 96th St. purchasing prime Manhattan real estate and completing the massive project with funding from 46 Islamic nations including Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Libya. Is it any wonder why Imam Rauf is hiding the funding sources for the purchase of the building for the mosque at Ground Zero? It is unconscionable that the Ground Zero mosque will have similar funding sources, including Saudi Arabia, which produced 15 of the 19 terrorist hijackers, and continues to finance jihad operations world-wide.

The greatest insult to the memories of our fellow New Yorkers who perished on 9/11 is the scandal that after 10 years, Ground Zero remains a gaping hole in the ground while construction for the new World Trade Center is being pushed back many more years and perhaps decades. Now a 13-story mosque at Ground Zero whose imam blames America for the terrorist attacks, will be completed within one year.

I call on the mayor of the great City of New York and all our elected officials to take a public stand and end this national disgrace. Terminate plans at once for the construction of the Ground Zero mosque.

Sincerely,
Phil Orenstein

Planting a mosque just two blocks from where Muslims murdered Americans on 9/11 in the name of Islam is a huge slap in the face. Why shouldn’t Muslims be sensitive enough to realize that a huge mosque planted right near the horrific wound to the U.S. created at Ground Zero by Muslims is outrageous to us? They claim a right to be insulted by cartoons mocking their prophet, even to the point of beheading people.

The Imam of the Ground Zero Insult, Faisal Abdul Rauf, is not the nice guy he likes to hold himself out to be. At his Friday afternoon khutbah services and in his book What’s Right With Islam Rauf states that he wants the mosque to be a place where inter-faith understanding is fostered. His sonorous voice is smooth and almost hypnotic. His writing style appears to be rational and unthreatening.

However, this does not jibe with the aspects of him that are downright hostile and frightening.

During a recent Friday sermon, this writer did due diligence as a mosque monitor and heard Rauf deny that Muslims perpetrated 9/11. In an interview with CNN shortly after 9/11, Rauf said, “U.S. policies were an accessory to the crime that happened. We [the U.S.] have been an accessory to a lot of innocent lives dying in the world. Osama bin Laden was made in the USA.” Elsewhere, Rauf has stated that terrorism will end only when the West acknowledges the harm it has done to Muslims. And that it was Christians who started mass attacks on civilians.

NYC community board OKs ground zero mosque plans

By MEGAN K. SCOTT, Associated Press Writer
Wed May 26, 1:48 am ET

NEW YORK – After hours of contentious public comment, a New York City community board voted late Tuesday to support a plan to build a mosque and cultural center near ground zero.
"It's a seed of peace," board member Rob Townley said. "We believe that this is significant step in the Muslim community to counteract the hate and fanaticism in the minority of the community."
The vote was 29-to-1 in favor of the plan, with 10 abstentions. The move by the Manhattan Community Board 1, while not necessary for the building's owners to move forward with the project, is seen as key to obtaining residents' support.
Some board members wanted to postpone a vote until the next meeting to gather more information about the project and the organizations sponsoring it. But the motion failed.
The meeting was unruly, with project opponents jeering at speakers and yelling comments such as "You're building over a Christian cemetery!" while holding signs that read, "Show respect for 3000," among other things.
Many said they were not opposed to a mosque — just not one that's two blocks from ground zero.
The families of Sept. 11 victims "would be wounded by erecting a mega mosque so close to the place where their loved ones were massacred," said Viviana Hernandez, a chaplain. "Even though they may have altruistic reasons, the real terrorists will see it as a win on their side.".................>>>>..................>>>>...................http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100526/ap_on_re_us/us_ground_zero_mosque

Not everyone has their head buried in the sand like an idiot, as the democraps wish they would.

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."
