i said that I do not work for FREE   ( the word I used was volunteer --- but that means "for free") for any
candidate   UNLESS they are a Democrat    ... that is ... if Mr. Salamone wants to remain a Republcian and
should seek office again someday ... he could HIRE me as a political consultant ---

just yesterday .. you folks accused me of not being a capitalist ... and then when I try to make some
money the capitalist way .. by selling my services to GOP candidates .. you get your briefs all bunched up.

I have not made any comments one way or the other on any of the political commercials.
Personally, if I had been asked to write the commercials  -- i would have hammered Mr. Farley for his
culpability in the dysfunction of Albany.

Ron says Salamone is all negative and how great the current board is, yet the only person that has said anything close to standing up for democratic principles is Salamone. He was quoted again in the paper today saying that all residents should vote on the Ambulance District. THAT is the democratic process. Limiting voting rights to landowners brings back memories of voting rights being enjoyed by rich land-owning white males only. That is unacceptable Ron.

And last Spring, I spoke at Town Board meetings and said the exact same thing that
Mr. Salamone said last night ---- I even went as far as loobying for that position by meeting
with administration officials myself.   Last night, I was not in a position to be able to speak
during the public comment period, myself.

The administration could allow  absentee ballots and more than 1 polling place ---- that would
mean extra work  BUT would not violate any state laws.

The question of whether only property owners can vote or all residents .. is a matter of how you
define the tax district under state law ---- water districts and sewer districts fall under the "only
the property owners" can vote provision of the state law ----  Mr. Salamone believes it falls under
a public safety provision .. which would allow all registered voters to vote.    I am not a lawyer
myself nor have I seen the part of the state law that Mr. Salamone is referring to  BUT ... I
happen to agree with his opinion.      

i saw Mr. Salamone hanging around outside the Annual County Democratic Dinner tonight.   Could it be
that he is finally moving towards the side of goodness and light ???      Frankie, come over to the side of
goodness and light .. and next year we will let you sit inside with us and enjoy the meal.
