If it was a set up, and if EE thought she was working 'with the enemy'.............she should have been more careful, huh?

Not sure how you set up having her Notarize dead peoples signatures but accdg to slueths DVR, Peeper et al. thats what is was!  lol.  Of course as usual absolutely no proof of that was ever brought forward.  The only proof is that she did it, lied about it, got investigated by NYS, and was found guilty of it.

HAHA it's about time the Gazette opened their eyes...Looks like everyone owes Parisi a big thank you and an apology for sullying his name through this. At least we had one honest person in government willing to stand up for us. I thought that was what Democrats are supposed to do? Care about the little guy? The only one in Rotterdam that cares about the little guy is Gerard Parisi and I for one thank him for it. I tip my hat to you, sir, you are willing to stand up for what is right even though it results in your good name being libeled and slandered. We need more men like you!

I highly doubt that EE will return to her position of town clerk. If she does, people will be shocked.
I'm also surprised that the gazette hammered 'one of their own' (dem)!

Just heard that the 67 year old TC in Galway will not run for re-election. She will retire.
It will be interesting to see if this one returns like EE did.
Although Galway seems to be quicker on the draw and one step ahead of rotterdam.

almost anyone is quicker on the draw than FDG and the DEM team - even the falling over manikins at the BBQ

BS...GP got slandered by the gazette up and down for criticizing EE and saying FDG was uniquely unqualified....I wouldnt hold your breath for an apology though...or even an admission that the gazette was wrong.

not slandered.....just shouted at by the gumba gangstas.....it is a schoolyard you know.....take the lashings and move on.......

Just curious since we really don't know what is wrong with Eunice, if the family is looking at collecting a life insurance policy off the the town. Could there be more money coming to her estate by keeping her in the office of town clerk? I'm not trying to be gruesome here. Why else would her family that loves her, not encourage her to resign? I certainly wouldn't want to see my father/mother humilated by many town residents that want answers on her absence.

She was a great public servant, but now in many people's eyes she is one of the biggest abusers of our taxes. Can't the family see that?

The laws are made by politicians for politicians, and need changing.  EE was compensated for all those years of service.  The Town taxpayers pay salary for services performed, we don't pay annual salary for winning an election.  Political office is service to the electorate, it's not welfare!
