LWV to focus on freedom of information, open meetings laws on Wednesday March 9, 2010 Updated 5:06 p.m.
SCHENECTADY — In observance of Sunshine Week, the Schenectady County League of Women Voters will host a forum on “Open Government, Our Right to Know: New York’s Freedom of Information and Open Meetings Laws.” The program, which is free to the public, will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at The Daily Gazette, 2345 Maxon Road Extension, Schenectady. Presentations will be made by Robert Freeman, executive director of the Committee on Open Government of the New York Department of State, and Daily Gazette Managing Editor Judy Patrick. A short video and a League of Women Voters presentation also will be part of the program. All presentations will show how citizens can use the Freedom of Information Law (FOIL) to gain access to important decisions made by state and local government agencies. The discussion will also provide information about the Open Meetings Law which is concerned with the conduct of meetings of public bodies, the right to attend these meetings and what legally constitutes an “executive session.” The one-hour presentation will be followed by a question and answer period.

Ahhhhh, but here is the problem (Other than the fact that my Uncles killed a whole mess of Germans but not enough of them in 1944 and 1945) They LIEDDDDDDDD about what was said at the League of Women Vultures debate. They are a strictly left wing, partisan Democrat backing group, and they pretend other wise. They pretend they are for free speech and then physically attack people on public property to stop it. They publish letters in the paper which distort the facts and they change words (aka a LIE) when giving their false testimony. This is what Nazis did, coincidentally when they held their trials. There is certainly no need for the LWV's any longer. Actually there really never was! I have heard from many many folks, including myself, that this organization is just a fluff with no substance group. Personally, I dis-regard anything that I hear or read from them.

I rightly assumed you were talking about everyone at the aforementioned forum, including Mr. Freeman. I simply said I've never heard anyone call him any sort of political slur. In fact, my experience is that people who talk to Mr. Freeman find him very fair and impartial. In fact, I did notice a few posters recently spoke with him regarding FOIL laws. I appeal to them: Do you guys think Mr. Freeman is a fascist Nazi propagandist?

Now, my question to you is what in this context suggests that I support Nazism(I assume that's the 'brown shirts' reference), worship Obama, or any "false god" as you so eloquently put it? Speaking of faith, that's a big leap of faith you just took right there, GB. And one right over the edge, might I add. You must have balls of brass to go around life call people these things. I'm frankly surprised someone hasn't landed a steel-tipped boot in them. I would if you said those things to my face.
