LD is a prime example of why liberalism is called a mental disorder! IMHO

You're missing my point - SOMEONE redacted it ... who?

I have no reason to believe that anyone has redacted anything, as I have yet to see any records. Eunice only said I could come in
and look at the records I requested. She never said anything about restrictions of any kind...but as I said, it was intercepted by
the Town Attorney. Whether she told him that she had already agreed to disclose them I do not know...I only know that the
reluctantly supplied written refusal claimed that no such records exist, as they shouldn't, but Eunice had already confirmed their
existence...that these tags have in fact been distributed without the required doctors' signatures.
The only information that has to be redacted is that which can identify the applicant - their name and address - and I have asked
for those records with that information redacted prior to my review.

So did anyone figure out of this is some major law breaking and invasion of privacy? Should the FBI or Interpol be alerted (or is Interpol only interested in people that dub video tapes they rent?)

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

SueM2342--I am wondering where you are getting this information?  This is an invasion of privacy for sure.  For all you know, these tags may be continuation of a prior application.  You are not required to provide MD info when you renew.  My suggestion is that you find another hobby.

so whatever SueM2342's beef is they have a valid point

by perusing the town web site I see the Application is 10 years "out of date".

also on the current application both the temp(6month) and Perm have expiration dates

nowhere in the instructions is a past/current permit listed as a method or the proper paperwork
needed to obtain a permit following the expiration of the current permit in hand.

Ignorance is not an excuse for not following the law.

on the subject of "out of date"
we have this:
(1)http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rotterdam_(town),_New_York
(2)records handling POLICY, procedures and storage
(a)NON-TOWN employees should "NEVER" allowed in the clerks office
(b)all records locked up  when office is closed and the office door doesn't count
Locking file cabinets, Safe, DOD user name and password for all employees
(c)viewing of requested records can be done in a public meeting room
(3)our town clerk
(4)an employee handbook with more circular references than a bad excel spreadsheet

is there a problem with reading comprehension????

it must be the water we have been SH!TTING in for the last 50 years

or the "Out Of Towners" have been drinking too much sulfur

The expiration dates are not in question.  The rule is when renewing your tag you fill out the paperwork but you are not required to provide medical info again.  That was done on the first app.  You're tootin at windmills Tippy--give this up.  EE is going nowhere.  And btw for a temporary permit you don't need medical documentation.

Who's squaking about doc's for  6 month temp permits

The issue is with the expiring and new perm permits without docs

How would the issuer know if the renewal applicant is "DEAD"

That is why a fully documented application is required

"Its not hard"

I needed a temporary permit when I broke my leg. I did have to show medical documentation.

My mom has a permanent permit that is renewable every 3 years. No medical documentation is needed for the renewal.

permanent= heart disease/arthritis/alzheimers/COPD etc etc........who's job is it to check on 'the dead' status since death is public record????

okay,,,,here's logic....as a nurse I will give you an example.....

let's say you are my patient and some other nurse along with a loved one of yours comes up to me and states that the doctor just said I could give you some
morphine for your pain....they feel bad for you, you are unable to speak,,,,,,,geeeee, what to do what to do.....now what EE did isn't life or death, but there are policies
regs etc in place for a reason(some wrong and some right) regardless she swore to uphold those......duped?---nah, just thinking they are above the rest, in a nice way.....

Ever hear of "power of attorney" ??? The wife was to have had power of attorney ... and WAS there in person.
