I would think that we are the arbitrators as well?? Why cant we as the PEOPLE who put them in office, pay their salaries with our hard earned money, all get together and do something?? In these dier times and all these people out of work, how come their salaries keep going up? How come they arent affected by the job losses from the taxpayers? The counties have to make cuts to afford the budgets, so why cant we DEMAND cuts in their executive salaries, benefits etc??  If my ins premiums are going up every year are theres?? I would like to
see that report!!! And I know alot more people would as well..

Everyone I am supporting Angelo Santabarbara in this contest -- however .. I must point out that
I have no "beef" with Mr. Amedore.  My family has known his family for years -  my aunt taught him
and his siblings over at Schalmont  (she may have even taught his parents when they were in school).
George lives "right around the corner" from us and long before he entered politics would stop and
visit my aunts -- to check up on the one who was his teacher and to admire their gardens and/or
various seasonal lawn decorating displays.   When he ran for the first time, he was the ONLY
candidate who dropped by, spent time talking with my aunts (both registered Democrats), and
answered their questions on various issues.   They were both impressed that he would take the time out of his busy campaign schedule to drop in and visit, and while he did not specifically ask for their
vote ... I know that they voted for him that time.
Although I know who I am voting for,  not one of the candidates running for office (except Mr. Tonko)
has taken the time to ask my aunts for their votes.   Don't assume that party registration will dictate
how they will vote --- make the effort to reach out to the voters .. you'd be surprised how far an
effort to be friendly/neighborly can pay off.

oh yes...and there is sooo much to be proud of about Georgie.  Ha Ha.  

I like both men personally.   I wish them both well in their endeavors and their careers.  I just happen
to think we need a new voice in the State Assembly.   Nothing more and nothing less.

I haven't heard this alleged tape.   If this allegation is true, it certainly would be of great concern for
me.    On the other hand, I am already planning to vote for Mr. Santabarbara so the veracity of the
allegation is not changing my vote one way or the other.
