I believe they still talk...although I heard GP and many others were upset that he didnt support the republican ticket because he didnt get a zone change from the town board.  Sounds a little too much like typical Rotterdam not to believe..unless you think Donovan and Suhrada both lied to the newspapers about it!

That we know

From the looks of things brick and zee are favored by the  blue team - this fact alone is a topic for discussion

They didn't lie and wouldn't about a thing like that.  They weren't the only ones in the room.

All incumbents should be put under the microscope this year.  Look at the budget mess?  Shouldn't we be getting more out of them than posturing and finger-pointing?

Gerard is very good at conserving Rotterdam taxpayer money.  It's very safe in his bank account.

As usual cissy you are off topic.  George promoting his reelection with taxpayer money versus GP earning a pay for services as a professional.  Nice comparison you really made a great point!!  HAHAHAHAHAHA

Face it...George is using taxpayer moneies for his campaign.  It looks like GP pledges not to do this when elected ...see Facebook.  As a conservative you should support GP in that pledge...unless your just a hypocrite....but I think we all know the answer to that question already!

BS, maybe you can help me out (seeing as you're a CPA and all)

In real dollars, how much has gone in Parisi's pocket from Rotterdam taxpayers vs. what has gone into Amedore's?

I know it will be difficult to calculate, but I'm sure you can do it.

Parisi's $$ came from Rotterdam property taxes (and still does) and Amedore's from income tax payers, right?

As far as GA sending out flyers, you would be the first to complain that he doesn't communicate what he's doing in Albany, so why now?

Yes Husky, vote out the Republicans and put in more Dems, you obviously know what you're talking about.

Not like you don't support the NYC Dems running our state.

I'll pose a question then.  What is a more egregious abuse of power - The Rotterdam Republicans contracting Town Attorney services from their Party Chairman's law firm netting him hundreds of thousands of dollars for his "services"?  Or… A State Assemblyman mailing flyers to his constituents communicating his position on the issues?

Am I back on topic?

I can't answer for Spidey, but my view is that the previous administration found a law firm experienced in municipal matters which was run by residents of the town of Rotterdam. This administration hired someone from Albany. Which is more egregious? Parisi and his partners provided a service and were paid for that service. The town needed legal services and the town received competent legal representation. Us residents don't NEED campaign mailers spent on the taxpayers dime when the state is broke. So I'd say that is far, far more egregious.

George in one breath complains how bad the fiscal position of the state is and in the next he mails out campaign pieces on our dime. Maybe a contributing factor of the state's fiscal situation is that every single person in Albany uses the peoples' money as their campaign war chest!

As usual cissy...u have your "facts" wrong.  GP's alw firm was hired long before GP was town chair....sorry to burst your bubble!!!  LOL.  As for how much they earned Zero, you already clainmed to have all those figures so POST them...oh thats right you completely lied about it, got csught and look stupid I forgot.

GEORGE AMEDORE USES TAXPAYER MONEY FOR HIS REELECTION...thats plain wrong in my opinion, I agree with GP on this one.
