. Ok folks, this complaint was filed in AUGUST! BEFORE the election. So if this was a rep/political issue, doesn't it make sense that they would have put this 'out there' BEFORE the election? DUH!
So again, the gazette rag, the dems and EE's supporters who are defending, supporting and condoning her unlawful behavior, and as ND so eloquently states....'are way uff base heeya'!
Exactly. If anything, Parisi did her a favor by forwarding the information to the appropriate authority, without political fanfare. The MUCH bigger question here is this: How is is that a Democrat controlled authority took so long to"investigate" a legitimate, DOCUMENTED complaint about a Democrat incumbent up for re-election? Now that's political, IMO. |

It is unfortunate that residents/taxpayers are not equally represented by either party at all levels of our local government. Couple that with the fact that our 'daily rag' plays a major role in obstructing this process even further.
It is also unfortunate that the residents/taxpayers are seen as dumb, illiterate, gullible sheople (which some are) and feed them journalism that leads them to the slaughter. All in the name of politics! It is a shame and a disgrace!
It is also unfortunate that EE notarized for a dead person, which allowed the survivor to get a tax break that the rest of us had to pay for. And that my cyber friends is a fact!! Too bad the 'daily rag' didn't elaborate on that FACT!!
It is also too bad that the 'daily rag' didn't elaborate on the fact that this was a complaint BEFORE the election. Which OBVIOUSLY prove that this was NOT political.....as the 'daily rag' tried to spin it!
Rotterdam has elected officials ADMITTEDLY breaking the law. Rotterdam has elected officials that give 'some' a tax break for the rest to pay for. Rotterdam has a 'daily rag' that obstructs the political process.
No matter how ya look at it....it is 'we the taxpayers' that are getting the shaft. And some wonder why there is a tea party movement! DUH! |

i heard some say this today about this subject
"Nixon's downfall was not the recordings but the cover up"
i wonder if the same holds true here?
this wed's meeting should be like the showing of "the Rocky Horror Picture Show" in the old theatre where blockbuster is now bring you toast, popcorn and toilette paper

That being said Gadfly....why the delay from the State Comptroller's office on the town audit that led to the resigination of Mr Della Villa and his shady no bid computer contract? Do you really think that GP wasn't trying to politicize the Town Clerk election for the/his secretary of the Rotterdam Republican Party? I dunno maybe I'm missing sumptin! |

I thought I made it clear that I do not believe GP politicized the Town Clerk election. As I said, if that were true, we would have heard about it before the election - not months after it was over. As for the Della Villa investigation, I'm not familiar with the finer details...maybe you should ask the Democrat Comptroller why it took what you apparently feel was too long to investigate a Republican representative, because I don't know. I only know that neither the Comptroller, nor Della Villa was up for re-election...the Rotterdam Town Clerk was. Regardless, I don't see where one has anything to do with the other, except for your desperate desire to establish an irrelevant link derived from bitter partisanship...as I suspect is the basis for the false and vicious rumors created and perpetuated since long before the election. Any honest observer who has ever witnessed interaction between Eunice and Lynn would tell you that not only is there absolutely no truth whatsoever in these tales, but it is in fact Eunice who was hostile toward Lynn. You are missing more than just something Peeper...you are missing everything inconvenient. |

Hey peepers....I just received word ........... Does anyone know who will be taking the pictures of the new town board? Was it bid out, donated or will it be a quid pro quo? |

You people make me laugh! ... Or I could cry! You're unbelievable! Try going after the really corrupt politicians who personally benefit ---- not someone who helps a resident overcome bureaucracy --- like seeing a person in a wheelchair or with a walker and NOT making them go to their doctor (and PAY him/her for "proof") for a handicapped parking permit! Breaking the letter of the law, perhaps, but certainl not the spirit of that law! (Which would only be verfifying a NEED for the parking permit!!!) If that got her ONE vote --- wow. You should be more concerned with the person who wouldn't do that! Use your heads! As for the tax break for the senior who's husband passed away --- she would still be eligible for the STAR program --- she owns the home --- and do you know ANY program that allows someone to pay HALF their taxes? PLEASE! Give me a break ---- she's lucky if it saved her a couple hundred dollars ---- I doubt that has any real impact on our Rotterdam taxes ---- CERTAINLY not compared to the SPENDING SPREES Tommasone and his cronies were on! We may never recover from them!
Incidentally, the very reason why EE was opposed to the "innovative ideas" like moving the Clerk's office --- EE was opposed because of the COST to taxpayers, relative to the benefit it might possibly, maybe, [NOT] produce!
And make no mistake about it --- Eunice is only still there because residents beg her daily not to leave! She has been the only consistent help and service the Town Hall provided in the past 40 years! Why do you think residents call HER for every issue --- not just clerk issues? She gets them answers!! THAT'S why she gets the votes, friends ---- NOT because she benefits --- but because she SERVES!!!!
Why don't you all get a job --- and get off your high horses --- DON'T YOU WISH YOU COULD BE AS PRODUCTIVE AS THAT 83 YEAR OLD???!!!! GET A LIFE!

by the way, "BUMBLETHRU" ---- no doubt you do "bumble-through" --- grammar not being your strong-suit ----
".... I HAVE THE RIGHT TO THINK YOUR STUPID" ----- DITTO ----- it should read "YOU'RE" ... as in YOU ARE ... not YOUR (belonging to).
Just a note on real smarts ... or the obvious lack thereof. |
