MT--I think your post was about Eunice.  My post was in response to BT's attack on Deb Riitano.

Again BT--nobody there ever called her bitter except John Mertz who did it in MY company.  YOU sir cannot be believed.  The seniors there NOW and some of the employees already have asked for Deb to go BACK.  So you don't know your a$$ from your elbow.  You hated her and that is it plain and simple.  She did more for them than ANYONE else before her or after.  In fact she is the one who caught a very serious infraction that had been going on prior to her being there and swept under the rug by the Rep. administration and totally unknown to the Dem. administration.  It was an infraction that put the town in legal jeopardy.  All because the person ahead of her was disinterested in what the seniors were doing.  BT give it up you know nothing.

I must be the only one who read the message on this board to not name names at the request of the Administrator re: wrong-doing etc.  So I have not elaborated on said issues.   Check with former board members if you want the "inside" info.

BS  BT--the seniors loved her.  To this day they still ask her to arrange programs for them or answer questions that affect them.  She did more for them than anyone ever did.  Visited the sick and homebound, helped get their events going, took a HUGE interest in the events for the association as well as running interference for their Medicare Part D.  She even took them to medical appointments and got a bus donated to the town.  Check the records.  Better yet call her.  She still lives in town I think.  Check the newspapers and the numbers of senior signatures on the petition that was presented to the administration.  It was political end of story.  If you can't admit that your posts are worth nothing because you have no integrity.  Check the newspapers for that coverage.  Even REpublicans were against that move and made it known even on Jan. 1 at the Town organizational meeting.  One more thing, Patacki wanted to weigh in on it AGAINST STEVE AND JOHN MERTZ.  It was DEB who asked him to dismiss it because she was already glad to be at her next job working with the homeless in some  Albany church.   BT I thought you had more class than spreading that rumor and discrediting somebody who only did good.  But then again YOU ARE THAT ROTTERDAM MENTALITY.  Guess that's why you are out of office.

As for alledged wrongdoing by previous administration--I would say that will be coming out soon I hope.  Don't act so naieve--even you, BT, know what that is about.

As for Lynn Fiorillo--nice lady but not for that job.  And she didn't have the know-how for it.  Just not a good match.    She worked to undermine Eunice at every corner while at the town.  Perhaps a county job would be good for her.  I COULD support that.

Deb was extremely popular with the seniors over there...I saw it myself time and time again. I was there when protesters stormed
the town meeting in opposition to replacing her. I even made the signs for her supporters! And she did indeed doall of the things
Alleykat cites, and so much more.

But you are wrong about Lynn Fiorillo, Alleykat. Lynn treated Eunice with nothing less than complete respect and civility...don't
believe the hype.

Gadfly--no nothing wrong with Lynn Fiorillo but she has rubbed some folks the wrong way in her treatment of Eunice.  But that is neither here or there.  I said I COULD support her for county office.  Would welcome a change there.

As for Deb, that was a trumped event by ST and JM.  It was a personal attack on her because she removed there political sign from HER PROPERTY.  There was no reason to remove her from office.  She did marvelous things at the center for all seniors.  She went beyond the call of duty in attending to one of the seniors who was dying.  She even did the eulogy at the funeral.  She was a caring person who loved the center.  She just hated unjust politics.  BT is unfairly attacking her and she is not here to defend herself.

Lynn F is a fox in sheep's clothing.  Cut some backroom deals for minor party endorsements.  Doesn't sound sooo sweet to me or others here at the center!   I forgot what she hasn't learned about Rotterdam.

Lynn Fiorillo is too decent of a person to be involved in the Rotterdam political scene.  We residents don't deserve
her or anyone else with principle and integrity to serve us.  The majority of town residents vote for candidates based
on party affiliation, last names, who installed a swimming pool, whose kids play on what sport team, etc.  The result
is that the corrupt, the self-serving, the arrogant, and the incompetent continue year after year to be elected.

I urge Lynn to dismiss public service, at least at the town level and to find a position in which she will be treated
with respect and gratitude.

As for Eunice, she's a nice lady who has served her community for many years (decades).  She has always been
pleasant to me in my dealings with her.  She is loved by many.  But, in truth, she does seem to be slowing down
and forgetting more each year.  And, this latest error in judgement should rightfully cost her her notary license and
prompt her to think about accepting the golden pendant watch and retiring.  IMHO

If courtesy is rubbing Eunice the wrong way, I say their real problem is that Lynn is a Republican who had the audacity to run
against the immortal Democrat Esposito.

But you're right again about Deb...and the signs.

Hey kittykat....I'm not attacking anyone here. Read my post again v-e-r-y carefully. I said.....'that is what many of the seniors told me'. Are you saying that I or anyone else should disregard what the seniors say, believe and think? I mean....really!!

Who really cares about Deb Riitano ... supposedly she moved out of town, no longer in politics and way outside the topic of EE's indiscretions / fraud, and when the people on this forum confronted her ideas with legitimate questions/facts, she put her tail between her legs and bolted.

....not only is she a rep...she is also 'smart' and 'educated' and 'younger'! However....and I will repeat.......it is just a plain old simple 'clerks' job. It should not be made into a political, elected position.

Same goes for rotterdam's collector of taxes. Any history there?????

Smart??  Can't be too smart. She set herself up for dismissal.  Educated?? Perhaps overeducated for this position?  Younger???  That play from the Parisi/Buchanan playbook blew up in your/their faces. How about coming to the conclusion that Lynn was overwhelmingly rejected by the voters!  She had frickin 5 lines and still got punked.  Cool.................

Lynn never said a bad word about Eunice during her campaign. NOT ONE bad word. Can't say that for good old Eunice.

You are no different Diane!  Bobby G. can't stand the sight of you because you wanted the deputy supervisor job,
a job mind you, that you were NOT elected to.
