State Health Care Bailout

Last Update: 6:28 pm

Governor Paterson is working for a federal takeover of health care costs for the elderly poor to help save the state money.
Lieutenant Governor Richard Ravitch says the cost would only be fraction of the federal government's health care spending, while helping to prevent struggling states have to request a federal bailout in the future.
Both Paterson and Ravitch have spoken with officials in other big states about their plan.
Under the proposal, New York could save 8 billion dollars over the 2010 - 2011 fiscal year.

Ya, I'm not sure Paterson is Obama's most liked person ... remember their spat earlier this year?
Don't hold your breath.

You never know MT.  I am thinking that Obama will finally have to offer something to Paterson to get him to DC so that Andrew Cuomo can run.  Politics makes strange bedfellows.  Just look around Rotterdam and see what's happened.

It's a fake fight to see who will rise up in their own party and what response there is.....

they can both take a hike.....

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.
