Your comments all flow together. First you are talking about "Rotterdam guinea mentality" then political parties are crime families. Saying you didn't mean to equate the two is a little less than believable.

The guinea mentality label is for those who recommend I watch The Godfather as a reference on how political organizations should operate.   There are people in Rotterdam like Alley, who believe in that organizational style.  And yes, I will say they have the guinea mentality.  So believe it.

Cicero could you be a bigger fool?  NOBODY is doing what you assert here.  Ok Change the movie--you can learn the same lessons from watching the Wizard of OZ!  Snap out of it.  And stop with the "guinea" crap.  What are you twelve?  It has nothing to do with organizational style.  Your righteous indignation is misplaced--amusing but misplaced.  Now that I mention the wizard I hope you're not going to take on the plight of  flying monkeys!  Get a grip.

Greenlantern--who called the Itailians a guinea...NOT ME YOU DAMN FOOL.  Re read the posts.  HOw dare you attack the taxpayers of this Town.  Yeah and don't start quoting MLK to me.  And btw Obama is a Negro that is his race.  Calling an Itlian a guinea is a derogatory and ethnic slur against them.  BIG DIFFERENCE.  I am not the bigot.  You and Cicero should stop trying to drum up trouble as a distraction to your real problem--the mess you made out of the town.

Ok,  now i'm afraid to ask, but here it goes.  What did the "Godfather" reference mean?  Let's not forget, the topic is, "6 town employees terminated".  Your position is that it is customary that the party in control fire town employees working under the previous administration because they need people around them they can trust(like a secretary).  I disagree, then you proceed to tell me to watch The Godfather as a point of reference so I could learn a lesson.  Why?  What lesson does the Godfather teach?  Now you are saying I could learn the same lesson from the Wizard of Oz.    YOU ARE CERTIFIABLY NUTS!  Make an appointment with Doc and ask for as stronger dose of those cuckoo pills.

Cicero this may be why you didn't make the cut.  Have you seen both movies?  Some lessons that you could glean--

1.  Both Dorothy and the Don were great managers/leaders--translation they could field a team or a slate of candidates
2.  Once they all stopped blaming others for their predicament THEY SUCCEEDED
3.  Both Dorothy and the Don kept their word
4.  Neither one did anything for "nothing"
5.  Both movies showed the power of motivation
6.  Both movies stress the importance of loyalty
7.  Both movies urge the viewer NOT to have tunnel vision when people act differently than you

Must I go on....You took a simple instructive and turned it into a racist tirade.  I haven't got time to school you Cicero.  You need to much mentoring.  (Check the movies for lessons in mentoring as well)  If you're Italian--you just failed at that as well.

OH-MY-GOD!  You have to be the first person EVER to draw parallels between The Godfather the The Wizard of Oz, in relation to town politics.

Racist tirade?  Toward caucasians? Hahahahahahahaha

Showing your ignorance again--the Scarecrow was actually the BRAINS of the outfit.

Haven't you ever seen the movie?  Cicero tell us about your childhood so that we can help you along with these concepts.
