MickeChristine it's too late.  Tree's down and in the attic.  Burning up all the cardboard boxes as we speak.  Been a bad year here glad to see it go and am looking, hoping and praying for a better New Year not just for me but for my family, friends and posters on this board.

Re: the town website...didn't go on it BUT they sent out a recorded message today about the wter problem.  One of my kids answered the phone and heard it.  Water pressure is still low. It also doesn't look to good.  Been using bottled water for all major things.

Yup,

they are adding new residential development that the infrastructure may not be able to handle while at the same time NOT doing anything to encourage new business to occupy the numerous empty eyesores on Curry Road and Altamont ave...some planning board

The video on the CBS6 website has an interview with Highway Superintendent
Longo and he indicates that the Rotterdam highway crew may have caused the
secondary breaks due to the water pressure adjustments they made.

I called the PD cuz I was going to tell my daughter to go a round about way to get her car-pooler tomorrow, but the PD said the one on Altamont is all done, road opened, whatever.

Funny though.  Earlier we had water pressure we could live with, slow, but I could fill a pot with water.

Just now I turned it on, it's barely a trickle, this is in the Hamburg St area.

It's almost like yet another busted somewhere

its obvious to me that the town does not have an accurate water line map. Otherwise, the lines effected would have been shut off and the entire town would not have been effected.

Sorry but "bad day at work" isn't an excuse.  I expect a high level of service from the Town and their employees -- that's one of the reasons I pay a hefty tax bill each year.
