You guys are all wet on this.  First of all--maybe not in Rotterdam, but the kids in the city NEED breakfast in the a.m.  Let's not dump on that--

Second radio on buses?  (are you talking two way or music?)  Two-wsay may be cheaper than paying for cell p[hones for each bus driver.  Public school should be able to have lighted fields that IS NOTpaid for by parents.  There certainly is enough budget money to run the dam* lights once a week for a game.

BT are you kidding?  Why don't you just home school your kids.  The electric sign does nothing to enhance education but it does much to create a town/gown presence for the district.  The community should be aware fo what is going on in school.  Geez you guys are CHEAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GB why are you being anti-child?

GB is not anti-child/he is anti-waste. This is a waste of money be it State or Local.

"Town and gown" refers to college-city relations it has nothing to do with any high school. Plenty of junk mail which no one reads to keep residents informed on district doings. That's another huge waste of money like the garbage from State legislators.

I know it refers to college but since only Rotterdam has high schools I applied it there loosely.  Doesn't have to relate to only "city" problems.  Same principle applies here Benny.  NOt so much in the way of district mail here in Rotterdam.  I think they only send out a supplement in the fall and one in the Spring.  I disagree the electric sign is great here in town letting us know what is going on at the Middle/Hish school.

Come on Benny give the school a break.

I want to know what goes on in your child's private school....I'm SURE they get some kind of taxpayer
grant $$.....so let it out of the bag....you 'lucky person'.....

and lighted fields ARE paid for by parents via taxes and your poor fixed income elderly too.....

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.
