As someone who stood on their front porch to see the hooker and dealer standing outside.. As someone who had to keep there newborn locked up inside instead of enjoying the fresh air out of fear.. As someone who made his mother in law refrain from taking walks... As someone who was sick to his stomach all day at work hoping his family was safe.. Actually *sigh* a lot of "friggin crack ho" were victims of abuse, and have issues that lead them to drugs which led them to prostitution... The same could be said about the people dealing the drugs on the street .. The same can be said about the next door neighbor mowing his lawn.. U never know

Shadow--In fact I do. I am part of a team in Albany that visits folks in jail. I also work closely with the Homeless Action Committee. Any other questions????
I spent many years working in all the county jails and most prisons in eastern NYS, as far south as Coxsackie and as far north as Denamora, and the one thing I learned is the inmates have learned to play you liberals like a fine tuned violin. The CO's used to laugh at the church groups that used to council the inmates to rehabilitate them for early release and the same inmate a week later would put a shiv in another inmate. Many of the prostitutes you worry about are positive for the aids virus and pose a real threat to people who patronize them. The police are doing the right thing and doing their job.
