Yup I did say it.  Come out of the bunker Vadeur.  Liberals don't bite.  You bet I said it.  Because despite the fact that GB and I don't agree on anything.  That kind of tactic is unfair and even if it makes Joe Suhrada the victim, it isn't fair to cast that light on his campaign.  I believe a Dem/Rep team were responsible for that incident.  Shame on them.  What have they got to gain by maliciously going after Suhrada's campaign material.  He is not running against their candidate.  No it wasn't right to do that to him.  Shame on them. Someone stole my Brad Littlefied signs as well.

This is right up there with the vicious maligning against Carolina Lazzari in the past by democratic PR that had gone out. That was very wrong.  And YES I spoke to  SS and voiced my opinion on that issue. When that stuff is worng it is wrong no matter who does it. Opening my mouth certainly made me persona non grata with Schdy dems but that is ok it was unjust.  And so is this.  And covering it up is WORSE.

So come out of the Bunker Vadeur...you're safe.  (However Bush was a jerk, he is a jerk and will always be a jerk that should be prosecuted for war crimes.)

Go to the humor section and read the top 50 bushisms, they aren't even the best ones.. And yes, yes he should..

But yes, it warms my heart to see liberals and conservatives holding hands.. yes it does.

This is less about Joe Suhrada than about the fact 'someone' is stealing signs off the side of the road so blatantly because he knows he is immune from getting into trouble. The next troubling thing which came out was that it was inferred in a subtle way that the witness could be charged, if anything, for witnessing a crime in progress and reporting it. I expected everyone to do tangos and foxtrots around this one considering who got spotted. What I didn't expect was the subtle bandying of threats. I would like to look for further clarification on this but with the DA and the police and the candidate all on the same one-party page, I wonder if anyone will have the courtesy to explain and retract that. I expect things to get nuttier before they get better. The gazette quashed the reporter's work on this I am told, so apparently the editors there are in the tank somehow. That ought to be a red flag for the safety of democracy in our town and county.

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

OMG this is ridiculous.  Do you peeps really think that the voters care about this crap?  He said she said, call the police, press charges, witness tampering, shameful what they did to this candidate, that candidate can't read, the spouse of a candidate, the son of a b**ch.  Give me a break people.

You are all chasing your tails.

Sorry Vadeur--I misread your comment.  I apologize.  That's the problem with email.  Can't ever really hear what is in someone's heart.  Forgive me.

PDQ - you are right to a point.  But again I offer you the situation in Albany re: the campaign of Tracy Brooks and Phil Steck who were in a primary for Congress against Paul Tonko.  The theif in this case was the boyfriend of Tracy.  As a result, it tainted both her campaign and Phil's.  Phil pressed charges.  Tracy could have been the Congress person.  She did well.  In this case it isn't really about Joe Suhrada, GB is correct on that one too.  It's about all the other issues now tied to that event.  And threatening the person who witnessed that event is unconscionable.  I do think folks care about that.  The whole thing stinks on every level.

Cal- If Ms Brooks thinks that her boyfriend cost her the congressional seat by taking down Phil Steck signs, she is in denial.  Steck's candidacy may have did more harm then good but Tonko had strong name recognizition and the numbers out of Montgomery and Schenectady County gave Tonko an insurmountable edge.

Steck's candidacy hurt more than sign destruction.  IMHO  Same thing here.  The spouse of a candidate for a totally different seat taking down Joe Suhrada signs is not going to have any effect on any of the candidates.  It's always about the numbers; turnout and minor party endorsements are the key indicators in a close election. Joe Suhrada once again will stoop to any level to manipulate and deceive the voting public.  He is at it again in this case my friends.  MOVE ON PEOPLE!

PDQ is partially right-who really cares about one less eyesore sign?

But it goes much deeper. It is an abuse of power. This was not some little kid. Contempt for the law and the opposition {if any}. It is also another example of the press burying an important story.

There are 2 sets of laws in this County-one for the political incumbents and another for you sheeple. The Gazetto is still under the delusion that they can determine what is news. Wake up.

You must be one of the co-conspirators in the cover-up...

Oh yes, if you believe in fairy tales, then I must be a co-conspirator. Sprinkle a little fairy dust on the story
and maybe it will become true. LOL.

Joe Suhrada had nothing to do with the culprit's action. I do not believe anyone told Bob Dagostino to take that sign. And why are you
emphasizing his role as husband of a county leg candidate when he is also the FATHER of another, who just happens to be the Chief's
best friend/recent RPD retiree? As previously mentioned, I suspect that you are one of the co-conspirators in the cover-up in progress.

PDQ and PG13 are co-conspirators in a Joe Suhrada sign being stolen..... that's great. Some people really need
professional help, it's really sad.
