SCHENECTADY -- With elections less than a month away, the NAACP has embarked on an e-mail campaign to alert thousands of people that Friday is the deadline to register to vote in the Empire State.
"It's a very important franchise that people should exercise," said Paul Webster, president of the civil rights group's Schenectady County chapter. Who else are they gonna vote for? Most of the County only has KRATS on the ballot. This will help some KRATS get over 100% of the vote? Look for the lowest turnout ever this year.

The reason is that I know that it has ALWAYS been governments that have murdered, harassed, threatened, oppressed, starved, imprisoned, stripped the rights from, relocated, enslaved and generally abused peoples and groups of peoples from the dawn of mankind in the greatest numbers. Of course liberals would rather pretend that a few independent free-thinking conservative protesters are the greatest threat to the world. We know that the governments, from Rome to the Soviet Union are the ones who really are. I want the government to have less power. I don't believe in violent actions and police raids of people who are not on the "right side." This is where we are headed. Thanks to Cal and her side.

My cousin did a tour over at Iraq and was sent just as his time was expiring in the marines..You think that was democratic leadership who forced him to go over there, even after his volunteered amount of time in service of our country expired? If you think that the church in the days of old cost more lives than they saved, or that they were not a civilizing influence, then I see you really were educated in public schools in the 1990's. BUT, if you think they have a means to kill people, show me how. If you think that the inquisition was worse than the holocaust, the pogroms, the brutal slaughter in the East by the communists, the murder of millions in the far east by the reds, then go ahead, make my day.
