1. There is evey fast food joint known to man on Altamont Ave except for KFC.
2. Rotterdam is Little Italy
3. As soon as u go past planet fitness you're headed into the "hood"
4. During summer, no many how many times u drive by Dunkin Donuts, the same people will be there every night during the week showing off their cars.
5. You know what " I Love" is.
6. Albany is considered an exciting place to you
7. You refer to New York City as " The City"
8. When you're out of town and try to explain where you're from you refer to it as albany bc no1 has ever in their right mind has heard of schenectady.
9. Wal-Mart is full of trailer park trash.
10. Even though people from out of town think schenectady is not dangerous you know for a fact that people get shot and stabbed there.
11. Going to Michael's Bar in Albany is a high school reunion because everyone in there is underage..even down to like 10th graders.
12. The opening of jumpin jacks and curry freeze is the most exciting thing
13. Summer means, everyone in rotterdam has a system in their car and they all try to compete to see who has the loudest one
14. You kno that Mohon sports teams win nothing but the band wins every award known to man for some reason.
15. Mohonasen is all guineas and u love it.
16. All the pizza places are in Rotterdam and all the fried chicken places are in schenectady.. KFC, Popeyes, Royals, Western Chicken(Schenectady)...Shoporama, Johnny C's, I Love NY, Highbridge Pizza, DuArizzios, Pizza Hut.. all in Rotterdam.
17. You see half the people u went to HS with at HVCC or SCCC.
18. Rotterdam Mall is gross to you.. Crossgates is better but rediculous if you're under 18 cuz u cant be there..hahaha

Nope. The old italians that once were a large population in rotterdam, are now (repectfully) dying off. It is becoming, like all other areas, more multi-cultural. IMHO

If you want decent pizza try Marino's Flying in dangerous Vale/Schenectady. Can't anyone here make thin crust Napoli pizza?
Marino's is very good. But I like the thick crust pizzas.
