Wow the state that has the highest taxes also has the fewest insured by a health-care plan, maybe it's because the residents of NYS pay so many taxes and fees they can't afford to pay for health care.

Well, the higher possibility of state employment lends itself to the fact that they tend to have a plan. More municipal workers per capita than any other state including California.

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

Rotterdam Republicans plan do their part to increase the municipal work force in NYS by creating a taxing district for REMS.  So in a way, they are addressing the issue of the uninsured by created much need public jobs.  That's very Obama of them.

People in Rotterdam are dying at an alarming rate due to our inadequate EMS services.  You can see examples of this in our local papers; public safety is at risk if we continue with the status quo.  You don't want to leave your life in the hands of an evil for profit, private company like Mohawk Ambulance.  Without this taxing district, YOU COULD DIE!

Off topic but I couldn't resist.

There should be NO ONE uninsured in schenectady. Between the welfare/medicaid availability, the free health care clinics, all of the non-profits AND for all of those good paying jobs with benefits created by the plex.....everyone has health care readily available to them. IMHO

Right-so let's raise taxes on the uninsured and really slam them? OBAMACARE! Yes-we can!

Maybe if the DEMS ever budget taxes would stabilize or heaven forbid go down. No, Schenectady needs to waste more millions on granite curbing? That will be a catalyst for "renaissance"-lol. Mayor Son of Sam should apply for a federal job. He would fit right in.

IT DEPENDS ON WHAT YOU WANT TO BE INSURED FOR.......anyone can go to the ER for care for something that is 'life threatening'....
that is individual.......so.....having said that,,,,,national healthcare(oxymoron) is cued for preventative medicine....when in fact it's our
lifestyles(by choice) that mostly gets us where we are.....everything else is research and NOT an exact science,,,remember---
drink wine-dont drink wine,,,,drink milk-dont drink milk...eat eggs-dont eat eggs........makes ya think your a guinea pig----
like in 1940 Germany/Poland etc.....

as for an REMS 'saving lives'---BLS or ALS? and give me the numbers.......dont play with them......

DEMS and REPS will try to look good,,,,and most sheeple will accept.......

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.
