Santabarbara doing well for Rotterdam IDA
As former chairman of Rotterdam’s economic development committee, I am very pleased to see the advancements of the Rotterdam IDA under the chairmanship of Angelo Santabarbara.
We are very fortunate to have a local industrial development agency. The added benefits that such an agency provides to local economic development can add fuel to a failing economy. As with any government entity, it is only as good as its leadership, and with Angelo we have seen the agency develop into a competitive and competent component of our business community.
Many in our community know that I am the first to stand up and criticize when I believe that government is headed in the wrong direction, but in this instance I feel it just as important to let you know when I believe it’s headed in the right direction.
To the members of the board, the chairman and appointed officers, keep up the good work.

I just received a letter from Angelo Santabarbara asking me to vote for his opponents. Then I got a call this morning where the pollster asked me if I was mad at Signore and Suhrada for raising taxes. Looks like this is heating up. |

Luckily, the pollsters can't call me anymore. I believe law is that they are only allowed to call land lines...which I no longer have. Goes to show that the polls are getting less and less reliable. The more people that are removed from possibly participating in the polls, the less reliable they are. |

No, I don't really do twitter. I do go through a bunch of polls on Facebook, but those are more national. No local. |

Really? This is the first time I heard that...unless you had your home number ported to a cell phone. I never knew that pollsters could call cells, but if you said they do, I'll take it for what it's worth. |
