Hello,

Has anyone else heard all of the sportbikes racing around Altamont Ave into Bernice/Caldicott Rd area almost every night at 11pm?  I can understand riding around late at night since
there is less traffic, but reving your engines in neighborhoods/waking up kids (including mine) and racing through stopsigns (I watched them do this) not only is disrespectful, but is
illegal and also is breaking the noise ordinance that late at night.  

With actions like this, I cannot see these individuals having a care for anyone. let alone if someone happened to be in their way.

I have lived in Rotterdam for 8 years now, and stuff like this never used to go on.  

Have you called the PD when you saw them running stop signs?

Sal, I don't think it was accusatory.   I think the issue was if the boys in blue were notified that there was an issue and if they could look into it, not that they weren't doing their jobs.  If they don't know there's issues, they would just have to be lucky enough to be patrolling the area at the time and realize what's going on.  Part of taking care of these things is the populus stepping up and advising the authorities of what is going on.

I think sal has a problem with 'reading comprehension'.

Sal just likes to still up the pot and try to get a reaction.

They will get a call if it happens again.  While we are on the subject, the RPD has always been responsive to the few times I have called over the years.

BTW, if I called the police everytime I saw someone run a stop sign in Rotterdam, I would be connected 24/7!

no kidding -----how many stop signs are there in this town?---there has to be about 500......I think we need a

A traffic czar perhaps that could be county wide and get paid $113,500 per year or something. For the children, of course so you better not be against it.

Kinda like a tax district for rems! Only difference are the players, who support and pick and choose exactly who or what they want to give our tax money to.

When i called the schenectady PD it went like this

1. Is there a weapon visiable?
A: no

2. Are you in immediate Danger?
A: no

3. HAVE A NICE DAY!>!>!
