2 roads with moderate traffic have been refinished

highbridge - asphalt recycling
fuez          - rolled tar and stone

neither has had the base altered just the top coat

highbridge has proper drainage  fuez does not and has suffered from heaving in the past

some time back the roads in the viewland area had been done with rolled tar and stone with great results

expect this thread to be dredged every three months

A lot of older roads do not have proper drainage because they evolved into town roads from being wagon roads or private drives.

putnam, princetown and dunnsville used to have them to prevent excessive wear
