Grant to help with
greenhouse rehab

SCHENECTADY — The Schenectady ARC has received a grant to rehabilitate its commercial greenhouse facility in Rotterdam, agency officials announced.
The Community Foundation for the Greater Capital Region awarded the grant, worth $15,000, from its Marjorie Doyle Rockwell Fund.
The grant will be used to repair the ARC’s greenhouse at the ARC Maple Ridge Center. The ARC operates the Capital Region’s only comprehensive horticulture training program, serving approximately 250 individuals with developmental disabilities each year.
The program provides instruction in nursery and greenhouse management, floral design, plant cultivation and potting, traditional gardening techniques, landscape maintenance and plant nutrition.

Um, Doesn't Cornell operate a greenhouse / arboretum at Central Park in Schenectady?  Wouldn't this existing program be a little more convenient to their target audience?

Mr. Salvatore...did you read the article?  It is NOT MAPLE SKI RIDGE. It is the ARC Maple Ridge Center.  This is the Adult Retarded Citizens Group.  I think this board needs to get members
with more smarts and less dumbass stupidity.

Oh good Lord (not that this web page is high on His reading) THAT is too funny.

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

I think that Sal is just the comedy act for this message board. I don't think anyone takes ANYTHING s/he says as fact.
