Rotterdam has a leash law for good reasons

Re Rotterdam’s leash law: Most people are compliant when it comes to leashing their pets. However, in my area there are two dogs that constantly run around in my yard.
There are times when a dog will get loose; mine are always on their leads, but have gotten out on occasion, and so have my next-door neighbor’s, people’s up the road, etc. That is no big deal, it happens. There is [also] a neighbor down the street whose dog is loose, but he stays on the property 98 percent of the time. I have no complaint with that, either.
My problem is with the owners who either refuse to leash their dog or the one who constantly gets loose from one street over, only to come to my yard to do his business. My two dogs go insane when other dogs are in “their” territory, and I am sick of having to reprimand them to stop barking and bring them inside just so someone else's dog can run around my yard.
Please, people, do not allow your dogs to run with no respect for others who do obey the leash laws. You are putting my dog’s life in danger if it attacks yours.

All I can say is that I love animals. Anything else will prompt an anonymous attack from a so-called conservative, or so-called liberal. So we can leave it at that and not have real opinions anymore, or even engage in debate or discussion? K????

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."
