Yeah poor illiterate Mr. Delgallo--smart enough to make more money than all of those thugs--Tommasone, Buchanan, Parisi, Mertz and Suhrada put together.  BT you are laughable.  Parisi is a thief and has been screwing the town since Steverino hired him.  At least there are no  gaps in Delgallo's work experience resume.  That is more than ST and Mertz can say.  Those comments are mean spirited and I hope FDG does not go to the debate.  The whole debate was drummed up by Reps.  AS I have said in earlier posts--they are on their way out the door.  ST is finished. The real contest will be between Brian McGarry, who is a breath of fresh air and a businessman.  What a surprise it will be when Surprise himself hits the bricks.  Maybe the town should run a resume workshop.  BT  for somebody so interested in who is doing homework--your analytical skills need to be honed.

Parisi is a bully who is afraid that his big bucks job is going to be gone.  His particular type of "lawyering" is what fuels the jokes.   "Uniquely unqualified" would be ST.  In another post I have given lots of reasons why he will go down as the worst supervisor.  Attacking Delgallo in this manner is abhorent to decent people.  For sure McGarry is doing a great job campaigning BUT I would not discount FDG.  You will be surprised how many people will back him because he doesn't have to open his mouth.  He has already shown that he can run business SUCCESSFULLY.  Parisi is a bully.  FDG don't engage in the debate.

HE CANT!!!!!!......No one is attacking him personally..........ATLAS SHRUGGED----AGAIN!!!!!!!!

I'll bet you don't.

And may I remind you that these debates are done EVERY election year. It gives the electorate a chance to see, listen and become more informed on all candidates before they vote. Come on cal! It's just a freakin' debate that all candidate 'usually' look forward to. They get the chance to get their message out for FREE! It's done ALL the time.

No I am not.  FDG is not illiterate.  I said he makes enough money to buy and sell you and me.   He has got more business acumen in his little finger than all of you combined.  Unless it's done by the League it has not value.  They are the gold standard.  Then it will be a real debate.  And why wasn't Brian McGarry invited?

Gold standard?

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

GB ~ I got a kick out of that one too.

First ~ the debates have little or no exposure.

Secondly ~ all the questions are canned as we learned from Clinton's debates (planted questions)

Third ~ being a good debater is not indicative of someone's ability to run a business or small government.

Lastly ~ as Buchanan predicted ~ this is going to be the nastiest campaign Rotterdam has ever seen.

Well of course it will be nasty.  There isn't anyone nastier than Buchanan.  Delgallo and the whole team will
win.  Littlefield will win as well.  Why???  Because he is NOT nasty.

Nobody cares about these stunad debates. Nobody goes and nobody cares-the voters demand a change.

Every town race is nasty-this is mild. This race is over. Fran Del Gallo is the right man at the right time. If nothing else he will clean out all the recent appointees including the pathetic Assessor-who is universally hated-and the Town Attorney. Who cares who has more degrees than a thermometer? Fran Del Gallo is a man of accomplishments-not some failed bureaucrat who can't keep a lob job. This is as funny as Son of Sam attacking Peter G for lack of business experience.

Agreed.  Frank DelGallo will win this race. He is a businessman who knows how to run business.  I would love to be there when Parisi gets shown the door.  Maybe he and surprise could share a cab together.

The LWV "debates" may be fraught with some less than deirable elements but it is still the most comprehensive assemblage of candidates we get.  It shouldn't substitute for getting informed but it certainly provides an opportunity to supplement getting informed.  There is no question it beats the mailers we all receive.  (It's far easier to spot "the lies" in person.)

I've attended as a voter several times in the past.  There is always at least one candidate I'd like to get a better read on.  I also go prepared with questions (and they've always been my own) I'd like answered.  My experience has been if you ask fair questions, they get selected.  A candidate doesn't necessarily have to have every answer either, but how does he do when he doesn't?  Is his "answer" geniune?  Does the candidate demean another when challenging a different view or can he present his differences respectfully?

Exposure may be limited but for the handful of interested voters coming to get better informed, it can be worthwhile.  Plus, the event is taped and replayed on public access and more people watch that than you may think.

People on this forum routinely make outrageous statements about candidates or erroneously rely on distortion or half-fact supplied second-hand when forming their perceptions.  Why not attend and try to ask a question or two instead?

Personally attacking a very likeable individual in this manner will do the opposite of what they are trying to
accomplish. In a Town like Rotterdam, this type of retoric will only push the voters further away from your camp.

It does prove that Reps own polls show Tommasone in deep Chit. This personal attack by Parisi will only help
DelGallo continue his momentum.

FDG may be likeable, just not capable. That is the point.
