Then it will be business as usual for the Reps.  And once again the Rotterdam electorate will be the laughing stock of the Capital District---which they are and have been and were all the way to the Patacki administration.
My point was......who will be there to 'coach' fdg? Unless someone is sitting in the peanut gallery with cue cards, who will be there to tell him what to say, when to say it, how to say it and lastly 'what it all means'?

Don't worry Puddy and Cal and will be there to guide him. The important thing is there is light at the end of the tunnel. Steve T is finished. By the way who guided Steve? lol Surprise, Howdy Doody and the Pizza Man?

Mike O'Connor will be a wonderful taxpayer watchdog on the Rotterdam Town Board. The NNTP will be the tie breaker. Like I said light at the end of the one party tunnel.

I'm not voting for s.t., but there is much talk in town that people ARE voting for him. So don't count your chicks before they are hatched benny. I'm tellin' ya....people really do think that the reps do a much better job than the dems.

Let me ask ya benny....do you think the dems at the county and city level are doing a good job? Cause if you think they are....than by all means.....don't vote for mcgarry or s.t..

fdg will just be the water boy and guess who will be pulling his strings? Do ya want that benny? Come on....I thought you were smarter than that. Or perhaps you are one of those....'misery loves company'.

Bumble--I think the Dems could use a little work on both levels and certainly in Rotterdam--but I will vote that way except I will bullet vote for Brad Littlefield probably.  But I think McGarry is a FINE choice for supervisor.  But then again here is where the Reps are stupid just one more time.  ST's campaign is going to be DOA.  Why didn't the Reps grab up McGarry?  He is bright and articulate and very likable for that position.  He LISTENS.  Too bad that party has got Mertz on it--he's a drag on the ticket.  Somebody who headed up the Ethics board and then tried to abolish it when he hooked up with Steverino.  He is brainless and a bad actor.  He's the only bad thing on that ticket.  You would be foolish to vote the straight ticket. (unless you are Mertz)

First....I swear to the Lord above that I am NOT mertzie! But I like him, his ideology, his straight forwardness and his guts to not 'go along to get along'. That I find admirable in ANY party candidate.....independent thinking FOR the taxpayers.

So enough of mertzie....I agree with you 100% that the reps/cons/dems all need some work. One is bought and paid for by businesses/corporations and those that will go along. One has motives that, in my opinion, is more about self serving than service and hell bent on knocking a party, that supposedly shares the same ideology, out of the box. And the other needs new leadership....clearly!

As to why the reps didn't pick up mcgarry, oconner or littlefield is still a mind baffler to everyone. But they, like mertzie, would not 'go along to get along'. All 4 are independent thinkers with nothing but the taxpayers in mind. Their desire is only to serve for the betterment of the town/county.

Which brings me to your statement about voting for littlefield. Although I obviously believe that he is the very best choice to serve on the county leg in representing dist. 4, it totally confuses me. His ideology, that he shares with the other three on the NNTP, is as far from liberal as the east is from the west. So if the other 3 share the identical same ideology....and you will bullet vote for littlefied, how can you pull the lever for the dems? You seem smarter than that.

You know as well as everyone else, that the people who are supporting fdg are doing so by taking a big risk here. Everyone knows that fdg was the only one who would agree to run. He is the water boy. He is the puppet. He hasn't even voted in 10yrs. He clearly doesn't have a clue. Just ask some of the residents that he has spoken to while going door to door. And now people receive a campaign mailer asking the residents to mail in their concerns to him. Doesn't he know??????? Hasn't he been LISTENING to the people like you said littlefield does?

Look....no matter who gets elected, I will still support and work with them if I have any concerns as a resident. I just believe that the dems could have given us a better choice. IMHO

What does Delgallo's home improvements have to do with his qualifications for Town Supervisor?  I can think of other ways to challenge his qualifications.  Using class warfare, envy and jealousy is pretty weak. Just have a conversation of the man, that's all it takes.

While Rotterdam Republicans and Democrats point out the corruption in each party, and how candidates, and friends and family of town officials benefited from both parties while"serving" the town over the years.  You now have a 3rd option in the NNTP, working to change the political culture of Rotterdam and Schenectady County.  Offering fresh ideas, looking at the town from a perspective of how to address the problems of the WHOLE town, not just pandering to the few special interest that keep them in power.

Vote NNTP on Row F if you want candidates that represent you after they are elected.

Vote Democrat or Republican if you expect favors after the candidates are elected

It's so funny to hear the blather from the usual suspects. Del Gallo has a big house, Del Gallo is a successful businessman, Del Gallo is a strong 2nd amendment proponent, Del Gallo has a pond? Come up for air. All you really care about is a few last town patronage hires. Boo-hoo.

This has nothing to do with the County or City. The County REPS have put up a closed sign and unplugged the phone. For County Legislature bullet vote for Brad Littlefield only. Bring on the NNTP countywide.

Get off Delgallo's pond.  The pond was there when he bought that property.

Yeah...Get off his pond.  Let's talk about his inability to put a sentence together, and practically incoherent when he speaks.

I would like to see him win, just so I could witness him chairing the town board meetings.  At least he would offer entertainment value.
