Being new to the Rotterdam political scene, I was nearly brought to tears by the number of people who were at Mallozzi's for Mr DelGallo's kickoff extravaganza.  Incredible.  A long time coming and everyone was so upbeat and nice.  A real warm sense of community.  Also a who is who from Rotterdam business owners to local, county and state elected leaders.

I am excited along with many others that the winds of change are blowin back to the party that made "Rotterdam a Nice Place to Live."  Hail Mary full of Grace!

Jigs ~ I too was very impressed and even more so with the number of Republicans that attended!  The business community is clearly behind Fran and it didn't appear that party affiliation was holding anyone back.  I do have to say that last night was a sad night for the local Republican party, but a bright spot for the future of Rotterdam politics.

I thought the current Republicans had a lot to offer, but lack of leadership and inability to get along has cost them dearly.  I do believe it is too late for the Republicans to save this by mending any fences, besides this makes for an interesting election.

WOW! I didn't know they did polls for little bitty towns like rotterdam. I'm impressed
What was it a Siena poll?

And $400K...WOW....I didn't know there were that many affluent people in rotterdam! I'm impressed yet again!

And to think that this is all true, too! WOW!

Heard Steve T was also brought to tears by the number of supporters packing Mallozzi's for Del Gallo. The fat lady is approaching the microphone-for several people.

A Siena poll? lol. Think it was a poll at the bocce club, the bagel shoppe, or maybe Mallozzi's?
Word on Hamburg St-Sell Steve T/Buy Brian McGarry. $400,000 is enough to beat Polenta Paul Tonko.

Find that hard to believe there Benny.  His ego is too big for tears and he has no heart as evidenced by was his trademark lies and deceict.  There is a reason this guy was a five time loser in this town and it all goes back to the man's honor and standing in the community and the way he was raised.  Look at his "family" structure for the real Steven A. Tomassone.  He is a "momma's" boy!

Another scandal brewing over his mother apparently. I am sure the taxpayers will be outrages when you go after her, and will want to throw him out.

GB ~ don't fall for this.  Tom & Jerry are trying to entice us to defend Steve by pretending to attack his mother.  Nice try fellas, getting a little desperate are we?

Back to real politics ~ yes Bumble ~ my understanding is that a poll was done for little old Rotterdam.  Results showed far less of a margin than some would have you believe.  In fact, Tommasone still continues to lead DelGallo over all ~ but is in a very tight race in the conservative primary.  With the $50k of his own and a $43k fundraiser by DelGallo, Steve T could be cooked ~ as the Howdy Doody F*%$ always says "Money is the momma's milk of campaigns"

As for the other races ~ nothing notable I am told (Surhada, Mertz, Signore and Godlewski all polled the same)  No county polling.

POWER RANKINGS IN THE HORSE RACE

SUPERVISOR:  1. Tommasone  2.  DelGallo  3.  McGarry
TOWN BOARD-4: 1. Signore  2. Godlewski  3. Mertz  4. Surhada  5. Martin
TOWN BOARD-2: 1. O'Connor  2. Marchinkowski  3. Dileva
TOWN CLERK:  1.  Esposito  2.  Firorillo
COUNTY LEG:  1.  Villano  2.  Dagostino  3.  Littlefield  4.  Viscusi  5.  Berrie

Let the debate begin ~
