Golub is a "huge" project...the meeting should be scheduled in the evening.  "Deliberate attempt to make sure
that there is not very many objections to the plan" sums it up quite well!

Another point regarding the Golub project.  Dilallo serves as Chairman of the Planning Commission as well as the Comprehensive Plan Advisory Committee.  This could be viewed as a conflict of interest as the approvals of the rezone and project are granted.  To most, this may not be considered a problem...but if the residents of Dolan Drive and Dunnsville Road decide to go forward with an Article 78 proceeding against Rotterdam, this would work against the Town!

Seems like they've taken a lesson from Obama's playbook - schedule things when people aren't going to be available.  (Think health care vote, stimulus votes on Saturday nights when nobody's looking).

What is the minimum period of notice that must be served for a public hearing?  This meeting is less than 1 1/2 weeks away.

It's listed in the Legal Notice as a "public meeting".  Is that the same thing?

Yes that's part of the Reviatalize Rotterdam.  This fence is the great tax boost that Rotterdam has needed.  The project was highly touted by FDG and staunchly defended by DVoR.  I can't wait to see my taxes drop like a rock from the road relocation and fence!

ROTFLMAO!

I never made a public statement for or against the Golub project in Rotterdam.

No different than GP representing Golub back when.
There should be laws on the books in rotterdam preventing town elected representative for these actions and possible future conflicts of interest.

And this surprised who in rotterdam?
And to think the 'computer contract' was considered a travesty in rotterdam!
