It is nice to see that old green house on altamont ave next to the citizens bank being sold and will hopefully be revitalized this summer.
anybody know who bought it and there plans?
our thoughts and prayers should be with the lady that lived there for many years...

Purchased by an individual that intends to remodel it. Elderly lady was found after laying on the floor for some time and has been moved to a nursing home.
So I'm assuming that they are going to keep it residential?

That'd be unfortunate. This portion of Altamont Ave, at this time in our history (and the traffic on that section) should be zoned commercial I can't imagine a home on the busiest street in Rotterdam. I hope they don't have kids that like to play outside.
Oh there are other properties in Rotterdam that are in rough shape now. There are code violations that should be enforced. I thought that we had 2 code enforcers...no?
