Please say this isn't so! I sat thru too many meetings listening to this guy push his nit picking agenda . We need good people , there are some in each party. We have to stop voting party lines, and start voting what is good for america not our special interest .

You weren't alone! We can't have this guy 'anywhere' on the town board!

One slight problem-Richard Beet is running against Steve not Godsmack. Godsmack made a complete fool of himself getting crushed by Ang. Other than Eunice and Holly V the Krats have hit rock bottom over here.

I would like to know how somene as conservative as Holly Vellano can sit in front of the dem committee and get endorsed by them? The cons and the dems, in ideology, are as far apart as the east is from the west. So what goes?

Sometimes it's hard to say no to a winner even if the ideology is different. The bigger question I have is
what moron allowed her to slip away from the Republican party?

I think that we all know the answer to that question pg.  The same moron who allows there to be uncontended races with only Democratic candidates.

One thing you gotta remember. HV's loyalty blows in whatever direction the wind takes her.  "Yes Mr Supervisor".  Whatever suits her needs at the current time.  Just like her comrade, Judy.  Birds of a feather.  I would never consider Holly "conservative". She's definitely a follower, not a leader.

Yes, I think we all know the answer to that one, as stated in another post. Buchannan either has to reinvent himself/party, although it may be too late, OR the party needs to change it's leadership. Which I believe is inevitable. Every single rep candidate is in jeopardy of winning an election or re-election.

The reps, like every other party, have a responsibility to the residents to provide equal representation. The only thing worse than a two party system is a one party system, which is what we at a state and local level have now.

The Republican Party will never get any new blood into the party when the first thing they ask new candidates is how much money can you give us and what can you do for the party. There's no difference between the parties and only the names are changed to protect the guilty.

This is apparent from the past endorsements of liberal Democrats by the Conservative Party.  As Michael Della Rocco told me at last years party mixer, his party endorses the candidate that the committee leadership believes will win the election, not necessarily he or she who is conservative in ideology.  What he seemingly fails to understand is that the Conservative party endorsement can affect the results.  The winner could be the candidate with the conservative ideology if the party would award its endorsement and support to that candidate.  You don't have to abandon your principles and conservative ideals to be associated with the winning team.

They won't 'accept' any new blood. They have become like the dems...they want puppets.
