Does anyone honestly think that this law is going to hold? It is nothing more than yet another way to raise revenues for this pathetic state. To pay for their so called 'mandates'. Ya know...those government handouts.
Does anyone know anyone that drives a rig? Does anyone know or does anyone themselves work in the trucking industry? It would be absolutely impossible for any huge rig to remove ice from the top of the trailer continuously. And may I ask how these independents are suppose to do it? What do they do, hall a ladder around and stop every 10 miles during a store or ice storm to remove the snow/ice?
Gee, let's ask Mr. Golub to add more time to the driver's runs during the winter JUST so they can clean off their trucks. Another fine job NYS is doing to keep businesses in this state!!!
Sorry this happened to this woman but sh** happens. In case no one has noticed, we don't live in a perfect world and the government with their never ending new laws WON'T make it perfect! God, they aren't even making it better...they are making it worse!!!
