Contractor charged with stealing
SCHENECTADY — Contracted work that was never done has a Rotterdam man facing a felony, authorities said.
Philip A. Gray, 50, of Dolan Drive, faces one count of fourthdegree grand larceny.
He is accused of accepting a $1,900 check in September as a down payment for work at a Jay Street address and then never showing up to do the work, according to papers filed in court.
