DEVELOPING:An Arkansas television anchor who has a bit part in the movie "W." was found in her home Monday morning suffering from life-threatening wounds.
Anne Pressly, 26, the morning anchor for KATV-TV in Little Rock, was found by her mother at about 4:30 a.m. lying in her bed and bleeding from "severe wounds," police said.
Little Rock Sgt. Cassandra Davis said there were no suspects as of mid-morning Monday but that the attack may have come during a robbery, because Pressly's purse was missing. Davis said investigators are talking to friends of Pressly's to find out if she had been threatened.
Her two dogs were also missing, ArkansasOnline.com reported.
The last known contact with Pressly was between 9:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Sunday. Davis said Pressly's mother gives her daughter a wake-up call and went to the house Monday when Pressly didn't answer.
Pressly was taken to St. Vincent Infirmary Medical Center. A spokeswoman told FOXNews.com she had no information on Pressly's condition.
According to her resume on the Internet Movie Database, the ABC anchor played a female commentator in Oliver Stone's new movie, "W." She also played a sorority girl on the soap opera "As the World Turns."
Pressly is a 2004 graduate of Rhodes College in Memphis, Tenn.

McCain staffer says she was mugged, had 'B' cut into face Thursday, October 23, 2008 By Michael A. Fuoco, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette Pittsburgh Police are investigating a report by a campaign staffer for John McCain that she was mugged and the letter B was cut into her face following a robbery in Bloomfield last night.
Police say the 20-year-old woman, who is from Texas, reported that the attack occurred after she withdrew money from an ATM at Liberty Avenue and Pearl Street.
She said a man armed with a knife demanded her money. She gave it to him and began walking toward her car, which has McCain stickers.
Although the robber had moved away from her, he became agitated when he saw her car, punched her in the back of the head, pushed her to the ground and carved a B into her face, she reported.
Police said the woman declined medical treatment at the scene.
