I saw this in the paper this morning and gave a copy of it to one person who I know is a S-G resident.  I hope that lots of people go to this to get some answers.  Personally, even though I dont live in S-G, I would like to go just to hear what type of things they throw out there.  How much you want to bet that this is partially going to be something to make sure they get some votes this November, to hold the stranglehold they have on the county, not allowing 1 seat away.

You're right Kevin, this is just a show to get votes and nothing is going to change.

I think we should ALL go!

And I also wonder if she will be having one of these so called town meetings in the other townships?

Which "other elected representatives" will attend?  I would bet that it would be Marty Finn (D) and other Democratic politicians whose views and actions are controlled by Ms. Savage.  Will Republican Legislators Farley and Buhrmaster be allowed to participate and provide their viewpoints?  The village of Scotia is in their legislative district.

I agree w/ Kevin that this is a sham scheduled by the Democrats in the year leading up to the race for Savage's seat.  If she really wanted to hear the views of county residents and answer their questions, there would be a sufficient opportunity during the privilege of the floor at the county legislature meetings.  Comments made at that meeting are limited to 3 minutes, unless you happen to be arguing for the majority party's positions on the issues.

Folks, it's time to send the tax and spend liberal Democrats packing.  Don't look for support, however, from the Schenectady County Conservative party.  As papanetta has vowed in his posts, the Conservative party will continue to endorse liberal Democrats who support the special interests of those in charge.

Maybe we need to have this meeting recorded.  Anybody able to bring a camcorder?  A tape recorder?  A new Conservative Party for the county?

Perhaps, Farley and Buhrmaster should, if not invited to participate, should hold their own "town hall" in which they can present their
viewpoints re: the issues that face Schenectady county and their proposals.

I dont see what the problem is overe here with her doing something this good for the people. She needs to finally be commended over here indeed and she shouldnt have Farley in on it wither since he is too radical lately and going stale like 3 day old Perecca's bread. More can get done if she works with Angelo to find the cuts, forget the others

This is a dog and pony show to support the clueless, Marty Finn(D-Niskayuna) who was handpicked by hacks. The only thing like 3 day old Perreca's bread is the Democrats inability to cut anything at the County level. There answer is always hike taxes and fees. Let the taxpayers eat cake!

Cry "State Mandates", throw hands into the air and raise taxes again County wide on the sheeple. Nobody will say nuthin, except maybe Brad, Salami and Kevin. They complete refuse to tap into half of the Metrograft revenue which would result in protecting all County employees and a TAX DECREASE of 10% countywide. This makes too much sense, wouldn't be prudent, is not the right time to redirect sales tax monies, and Death Ray Gillen's work is not done!
