What is the problem with this property ??? I see apartments, condo's...Townhouses etc...all over Rotterdam   why not there ?? Better than a field of weeds..

First Biag, it's called, or was called 'Rolling Greens'. And from what I hear, the property owner is asking too much for the land. And I also heard that someone did want to build condos/apts there, but guess what? NO SEWERS!!  So it would appear to me that Hamburg Street, as the Rt 7 corridor is dead in the water until some sewers are put in. Sewers seem to be the biggest issue in this town and yet they get voted down every single time.

Do you want to see improvements on Hamburg Street? Do the other residents want to see improvements and new development there? Then are you and your neighbors willing to pay for sewers?  Probably not.

So in 20 years from now, when you are driving down the streets of Rotterdam and every single thing looks just about the same...you'll know why. NO SEWERS!!

I agree, yall should HAVE sewers, but the first priority needs to be a comprehensive plan - updated and approved.
