No, they would have needed a third vote. It seems as though Matt Martin doesn't say much and goes right along with Del Gallo / Godlewski. Anything that needs a 3/2 vote to pass has to be approved by the dual Supervisors.

It would be more of a concern if he disregarded the conflict of interest and voted. Wouldn't you agree with that?
I would definitely agree with that. My issue is when his vote is the deciding vote on an issue important to the residents and he is forced to abstain because he has a conflict. It concerns me that we can't count on him to vote on important town issues. That's my only point here.

Sounds like Guidarelli is back on the board - he recused himself from most everything too.

To vote or not to vote....does it really matter? In some cases it probably does. But don't be swayed by the fact that ND went against the majority this ONE time. Even if it did get tabled for 2 weeks, it would have passed then anyway. So this particular vote to table this issue was one of 'caution' since she was already prepared to vote in FAVOR of the zoning change. This is a moot point!
I believe that if and when and whatever GP votes on, he will always be the minority. The ONLY attribute GP brings to this board is his past knowledge of issues that are now rearing their ugly heads. He is basically there to 'set the record straight'. So whether GP votes or not will not make a major difference. IMO

Neil Golub still remembers moving Price Chopper’s offices from downtown Schenectady to a site near the Rotterdam Industrial Park nearly five decades ago. At the time, Price Chopper was expanding and the two-story building on Erie Boulevard was proving inadequate. Land was acquired for a new headquarters in 1961 and a modern facility opened the following year to the excitement of management. “At the time, we thought the new building was pretty special,” recalled the company’s president and chief executive officer, as he stood Tuesday in the lobby of Price Chopper’s new offi ce building on Nott Street. “And this is the same thing.” Price Chopper is unveiling its new headquarters this week, having completed the move from its longtime headquarters in Rotterdam in late April. The old offi ces are empty, save for a handful of cafeteria workers who continue to serve meals to employees of the distribution center and other facilities at the site off Duanesburg Road. The new $33 million headquarters stands as a shining example of efficiency, said Bill Sweet, Golub Corp.’s vice president of engineering and construction. Everything from the six-story, 240,000-squarefoot building’s energy systems to the layout of its offices is designed to make the company’s operations more efficient and thereby more sustainable. As an example, Sweet pointed to Price Chopper’s three-section conference room on the building’s fi rst floor, which can accommodate up to 300 people. The facility’s audio-visual system can simulcast any meeting throughout Price Chopper’s computer network, thereby reducing the need for employees to travel. “Sustainability isn’t always about buildings,” he said during a tour of the building Tuesday. Conference rooms throughout the building are also connected to an automated scheduling system. Workers can now reserve certain conference rooms from their desktop computers. The building’s design also emphasizes wellness among its 750 workers. Golub has done a real service to its employees with this building. I would like however if Schenectady could do something about the traffic downtown. It takes 5-10 minutes to get from the Golub building to 890 because of the long traffic all afternoon.

It's likely all those people headed out of (or just passing through) town - to Amsterdam, Clifton Park, Rexford, etc.
ROTTERDAM Late summer start seen for work on relocating Dunnsville Road BY JUSTIN MASON Gazette Reporter
Construction on the Dunnsville Road relocation project could begin later this summer, representatives for the Golub Corporation said Tuesday. Work has already begun on a new guard shack at the future entrance to Price Chopper’s main warehouse. And with state approvals forthcoming, construction on the new road could begin next month or in early September. Contractors will first build the new 900-foot stretch of Dunnsville Road and then close off the old section, meaning there should be little disruption in traffi c during the project. Company representatives indicated the relocation will take four to six months to complete, depending on how quickly work begins. “A lot of it’s going to depend on how much work can get done before winter comes,” said Don Rhodes, an engineer with the project, who updated members of the town’s Planning Commission on the progress Tuesday.
