I forgot that this was even a possibility, but from http://www.schenectadians.info, I found the following article.  There are, somewhere, 4 steel I-Beams that were planned for a WTC / 9/11 memorial.  If things aren't working out with this in Schenectady, what does someone think about seeing if it would be a possibility in Rotterdam?  Maybe at the old Rolling Greens over on Hamburg Street?  It could change from Rolling Greens to the "Let's Roll" 9/11/01 memorial.



I would like to see this idea brought up again, maybe so that the money could be brought in and (I know this is ambitious, considering how much could need to be raised and done to bring this to completion, but...) have the memorial done in the next 4 years, to have the ribbon cutting on the 10 year anniversary, 9/11/11.  We DO still have the time and we HAVE NOT FORGOTTEN.

Maybe talking to fire departments all across the nation to raise some of the money.
