I read there might be a tattoo school opening up in Rotterdam.....

I also noticed that we have a 'town nurse'?.....is this in conjunction with county public health?

Golub will be expanding their perishable warehouse, demolishing the old truck maintenence building and building a new one.

Bocce Court dedication at Eunice Esposito Park
(I wonder if this is for use by the Sons of Italy on Hamburg St.)

Just what we need.  A bunch of hairy burly smelly guys that look like they are 9 months pregnant, roarin' into town.

More tats, more welfare.  It was just last night or this morning on 6 or 10 about the problems of getting employment when one has tats, but it is making business better for plastic surgeons who are doing tat removal

A tattoo school? Oh brother...and MC1...you are too funny . I wonder if it is that Tattoo Blues guy that has his place next to DAurizio's Pizza on Curry by Fort Hunter Rd?  Usually, before a business opens up in a community, there first has to be a need. Who or what made these people think that there was a need in Rotterdam for a TATTOO SCHOOL? I'm quite sure the folks from Guilderland, Saratoga, Clifton Park, Voorheesville and other surrounding areas are just biting at the bit to come to it's grand opening and enrolling their high school graduates in the school. I  mean is there really a demand for this??
UGH....first it's walmart, than all of the dollar store, soon the thrift shop AND NOW A TATTOO SCHOOL!! Oh, when will it end?

But you know what?  I bet there won't be people marching at town hall to stop the tattoo school from coming to town.

You are right BK...and that is because.... why? For what reason would we be marching to town hall for on 'why' we don't want a tattoo school, a thrift store, or even another Walmart? We would say that we wouldn't like the 'class' of people it would attract. We wouldn't want to see the 'undesireables' walking down the street. We would say that we would see an increase in crime. RIGHT?

Well, that is where old walmart steps in to defend the society it has helped create. To expose the divide. Ya know...the 'underserved' and 'unbanked' vs the 'served' and 'banked'. Wal-mart has elevated the 'undesireables' to an acceptable, way of life that should be embraced by all. Void of wanting to possibly better yourself and be a positive force in your community.

So ya see BK, you can no longer base your dislike for certain businesses by the patrons they attract. Walmart is on the brink of making it discriminitory!!

A contractor told me that Lebella's hair place in Capital Plaza was moving across from Curry Freeze....NOT! I went by there tonight and there is a 'dry cleaning' sign out front.

Very nice concept. I wonder if the folks take advantage of this benefit?
