MEREDITH L. KAISER/GAZETTE PHOTOGRAPHER A house at 1401 Crane St. in Schenectady is seen Tuesday after a tree blew through it during Monday evening’s storms. The building was occupied during the storm, according to Debra Gaston, a renter, but she and her two children were able to escape unharmed.

Somebody in Schenectady told me last night that their power just came back on, after losing it for 24 hours.  They had generators running so they could keep the refrigerator and house cool.

The Cambell Ave area in Bellvue was out of power and National Grid said they might get the power back on sometime last night. There were a lot of trees down in that area too.

Someone told me they were riding down Princetown Road while the storm was active and they  had to stop, first cause it was raining so hard that they have very little visability...and then when the storm let up a little, they started to drive again and noticed a tree had fallen on a car.

They say we are suppose to get more storms today...so hang on!!

Outside sure looks like something should be happening.  Just wish it would get itself over with already.
